- This is a live version of Cosmic Girl performed in Phoenix 1997. Jay Kay, Stuart Zender, Toby Smith, Derrick McKenzie, Wallis Buchanan, Sola Akingbola, Simon Katz, DJ D-Zire and the horns section.. the team was complete. Enjoy!
90s were the cradle of such great tunes, high times. Great band - Zender rules
this is the best soundtrack on youtube
Best version of this song ever!!!!!
This is the best live performance ever! im still a jamiroquai fan :P
Best version of this song ever!!!!!
I never get tired of watching all jamiroquai's stuff.
JAMIROQUAI IS WORLD WIDE THE BEST BAND EVER.
THE BEST MUSIC EVER MADE.!!!!!!!!
This was a wicked night!! We were there all the Groove Connection boys as we were on the same bill supporting Jay K, Playing alot earlier ! Those were the days my friends real Funky live music not three guitars and a drummer like the sad live scene now!!
Dieser Song macht jeden auftritt besser/This song makes always a gig better
This is the best live performance ever! im still a jamiroquai fan :P
AWESOMEE AWESOME.. the Jingle sound of the chorus is magical.. from other space
01:23 I think Toby completely forgot about the synth solo but once he realised it was too late to switch over... Lol
You know you have the best tast of music when you listen to this
The keyboard and guitar sound so splendid in this song.
This is farken fire 🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤
Jamiroquai ❤
Bellos recuerdos d esta canción la amo muchisismo
zender and smith were the real jamiroquai. they're just not the same anymore.
Amazing!
Jay Kay you are Great!!!
Great song!
makes me want a joint oh man
I have to agree =)
I heard this version again and I think that too
PHAT sound =)
Must have been a great evening! thats how all my gigs should be, but then again i would not mind anymore after a few nights......oh well.
oh my god, oh my god, Jay you are so tallented !
RIP toby
really great !!!!!
you need to hear live in argentina '99
the intro is just perfect..
and i think that paul turner and stuart zender are just defferent styles, i can't say if anyones "better" than the other..
if anything, zender was a bit funkier but paul fits just prefectly in this line-up
if not, listen to runaway in the abbey road version
i still think they use to make better music back in the 90's thou
J'aime toujours autant!
@WaffyFromBari it'sToby smith he played keyboards from 1992 to 2002.
i think this live version of cosmic girl is likely better than the original one
PS who's the long red (?) hair musician at 1:24?
RIP toby smith
sounding great live. play on.
+1 i totally agree!
Damn these guys are cool...
maestro !
Really? That is AWESOME news. any idea when that's coming out?
There was a bug.
My comment was a response to the guy who said that de Verona version was better..
We all know that the Phoenix version is the BEST one =)
Yeah!
This was real Jamiroquai.
Todays Jamiroquai is just a shadow of the good old one.
@Cavkisi
heard the new single?
its pretty good:)
admitted it was Zneder that made the style work but Turner now does a good job.
MAESTRO
Classic =)
The version in "Live in Verona" is much better :P
this is the best soundtrack on youtube
RIP toby
I think it was to do with JK and the credit he was taking for their songs, but I might be wrong...
ahh eso esta chido pero por que lo posteas en un video de jamiroquai??
Stuart Zender :D
I wonder where this WAS in Phoenix...? I live there... lol
but i still the verona version , i dont know why , but that one in the hard rock cafe is good though
agreed :P
what concert is this in phoenix??
There was something wrong with the controls or the mic levels. Jay was like "hey you there, turn that down just a bit" at 0:31. Same gestures during Space Cowboy from 2:42, it was even more recognizable there. LOL
What is it with Jay-Kay and random hats? :D
...could'nt agree more dude.What happened?
fuck this guy can SING!
Ya vino Bjork a Perú..... Ahora les toca a ustedes.........
I think Synkronized was still a great album, the agony began with funk odyssey.
Rob Harris' arrival and those of the backing vocals changed the whole music. Still tight and all, but it all sounds similar. Give me that oldskool JMQ back.!
@MrDiscordinated thats more likely down to him smoking an eigth of skunk before being seen in public or coming on to the stage...
toby smith
he's not left quite yet. that's stuart zender
toby se sale en esta versión
ditto
wtf? do you say this version is better , pro?
They were =(
ye and thats me , i think the verona version was better XD
it's just a cosmic song...
So much compression on the drum bus.
The version in "Live in Verona" is much better :P
Pfs thats totally false
Always is JAMIROQUAI
differents ages, always great
i'm sorry but for me, he isn't. To me he is a bit like dj desire-pointlessly over the top. This is funkier because it is a different style of music. I prefer the newer, smoother, cleaner and tighter, more proffessional jamiroquai. But at the end of the day it is down to personal taste :)
Everything was ok at that moment (Travelling without moving era)until Synkronized came out, diferent music and zender out of the band... why????.
quin puta crackkkk
his good looking, give him that as least
Haha, yeah dude, I was 8.
he;s cool but has tiny little piggy eyes , like that of Howard moon. lol
Good music, not tekashi 69 bullshit
