Hello, What about grounding and bonding in the meter enclosure. How the meter enclosure is protected if a short circuit or ground fault occurred inside the enclosure.
Kills me how ultility companies can get away with greatly undersizing wires that feed both aerial & underground services. Everyone knows they do not havev to follow the NEC. While replacing a 60 amp underground service downtown in a 4 story row house that was approximately 85' long PECO refused to replace old frayed #6 guage copper wire in thier end box that were installed in the 1920 or 30's for the 100 & 200 amp setvice I was installing. Told me that 60 amp wire was large enough to feed 300 amps for services because they were several feet underground and that keep the wire from overheating. Was fun splicing a #6 maybe 4" long wire to a 4/0 or maybe it was 250 MCM copper THWN wire.
