This one compliment the topline melody instead of trying to look "quirky" but failed. i get teddy tryin to save the song with acoustics but that's not the problem. sometimes a song just need beats with simple common sense chords and producer need to listen to the melody, after all this is not a rap song. I'm proud of rosé for her accomplishments and how she released it, but this version, this remix, is so so much better than the original instrumental (which sounded kinda bland). Plus, this remix would make a nice ending credit for a movie, don't you think?
The instrumental was indeed very basic. But guitar is just Rose's type. And, neither of Rose's songs are K-Pop. Both are in English, and I'd say she is more of a pop artist. The more basic instrumental, shorter verses and the MV style all shout pop girl to me.

I like them both about the same, but I think they have different vibes. This one was more upbeat and modern and the other felt more nostalgic to me.
