To create the USB use "Rufus", just google it. Use Free-DOS included with Rufus, follow the video and it works.

Even though this info is limited to some model of laptops, I want to throw some light on the folder (Ms-Dos System Files), you will not get the folder after downloading of the clnpwd file, so what you would do is create a folder by any name or you can use the creator of this video, (Ms-Dos System Files), after that look for ms dos bootable for any Windows or even win 98, it will come zipped, extract the content to the folder you may have created, be it (Ms-Dos System Files), or whatever name. After that just access the format app and follow it steps and you will be good to go...

You can't enter the boot menu because it's password protected like the man said.

Does NOT work with a Dell Studio 1737. I tried all the codes generated with all the options. They're all one character too short. The fail code in BIOS setup is 23130 and at the bootup password prompt is 08602
Sounds like you have a HDD or power on password or both. If i remember correctly you may need to use a buffer character for dell. This basically brings the number of spaces required. Try * before , after and both sides one at a time. Also may be - as a buffer. you may also have to hit ctrl + enter when finished instead of just enter. If your still stuck let me know i have a specific Password generator for DeLL.
I don't have the 1737 now but still have the hard drive. There is no way to enter more characters.The codes generated are the maximum number allowed to input. Hitting Ctrl+Enter, once or twice or more, does nothing. It will only acknowledge Enter by itself. Three attempts then it has to be power cycled. The Studio 1737 is circa 2009 and it appears Dell closed down some of the things that made it possible to hack the HDD password in earlier laptops. I do have an identical Samsung HM500JI drive in a Latitude E6530. I've found that it's possible to get rid of the password on this drive by copying the "B2 Module" from the firmware of an unlocked drive to a drive with a password. But getting hold of the software to do that is a problem.
I was able to hack the BIOS password on a Fujitsu LifeBook by finding the "secret list" of three specific wrong passwords that had to be entered one after another to make it spit out the code to enter into the bios-pw website to get a working master BIOS password. (IIRC it was the second of the three possibilities returned.)

First at all you have give a wrong links second on most laptops the bios bass is on epprom and not to cmos so cleaning it will not reset the pass at all laptops maybe after successful reset on cmos they to have issuss to boot

connect the laptop charger open the battery and immediately power on and press F2 button its for acer laptop and if it doesnt work for other laptop try press delete, F4, F8 button.

This is an old method used on the cheap machines, Acer, HP. This won't work on Thinkpads. The HDD pw is storage on the ROM. You have to replace the HDD

Format you pen drive in FAT 32 or default FAT to get in normal mode...

I can't format it.
In Windows run Command Prompt as admin. Then type these in:
- diskpart
- list disk (take note of which drive is the screwed one here by looking at the size!)
- select disk # (where # is the number of the drive)
- clean
- create partition primary
- select partition 1
- active
- format FS=NTFS label=USB quick
- assign letter=Z (or whatever drive letter you want)
- exit
Your drives are no longer fucked by that outdated ass HP Format Tool that doesn't work on Windows 10.

what is your laptop problem? HDD lock or BIOS lock if BIOS lock then only need to do first step and if HDD lock you need to first reset your BIOS and after that HDD lock..
