Honestly Tech died from falling like 100,000 feet over a wide open area. He doesn't have force powers, so he couldn't repel his own body away from the ground like some Jedi who've fallen from great heights over the years. Hemlock told The Bad Batch that there wasn't much left of him and he had no reason to lie. We never had any reason or evidence to think he was still alive. With Echo it was different because no one reported on his death after he was injured and lost his arm left for dead in the shuttle explosion. Now maybe Omega can go on to be a copilot with Hera! We don't really know what Hera was up to during the Galactic Civil War after Luke Destroyed the first Death Star. Can't wait to watch The Acolyte, and ANDOR and Ahsoka Season 2!
Actually, Ventress is alive. She died during the Clone Wars while trying to assassinate Count Dooku. The theory is she was resurrected by the spiritual waters of Dathormir. This is how she's able to appear in this time period.
This finale was fantastic and incredibly emotional, especially the ending. I wanted Tech to come back, but unfortunately loss is inevitable in war. So proud of Omega choosing to join the Rebellion on her own terms as well :) Great reaction :)

Not everyone has to be brought back. Tech died. I think Dave made the right decision to not bring him back.
