    i usually open another terminal tab, then switch between tabs, i think the buffers would be better

      99% of the time, I use the Buffer List too.
      I’ll split the window if I’m editing a new version of a config file and need to see the old one at the same time.
      A REALLY GOOD use case for vim windows is when you’re running a vimdiff on files 👌🏼
