I luagh at fact you are band using 300 Winchester Magnum in Africa which has taken many large animals down quicker then a bow but yet they band it for dangerous game. They literally roam the streets in certain neighborhoods of South African cities looking for food at night and tragedy as a result has unfortunately accompanied that . Sometimes they need to be culled - for everyone’s sake including the Hippos . They are invasive. Like a dangerous wild boar times twenty it’s size ( 2 tons they are average ) . That’s an SUV mate which can rip your child’s head off simply after entering his or her very own backyard at night and surprising the Hippo. Mind you that doesn’t even need to be surprised to attack . Screw them !
No , Hippos are ultimate dicks. They don’t even have to be protecting a herd as one lone Hippo can simply charge you for being in it’s line of sight - Fact . They are extremely aggressive and pissed off all the damn time . Go see what happened to a toddler and a Hippo . The can decapitate you even with their jaws in one simple bite and a twist . Screw them. They are a nuisance the lot of them and the best part is they aren’t even endangered . Pablo Escobar had bought 4 Hippos to range on his property ( look it up called Cocaine Hippos no joke ) and after he was killed in 1993 the Colombian Govt decided the 4 of them can stay there freely . Today those 4 have grown in number to well over 100 with some estimates at 150 plus. Screw Hippos !
