- Intro to Pacifica Gnar: The Mile
I don't even know why I waited this long before riding in Pacifica. Maybe it's actually a good thing, coz this place is pretty gnarly. In this episode we rode some fun trails for the antipasti, then went straight into the main course: the infamous Mile trail.

Yeah brah! You’re a beast. First time hitting the mile and you rode down the whole thing! So stoked for you 🤘🏼😁
Thank you! Haha I was glad I did it but it definitely pushed my limits
There are several lines down "Waterfall", but your friend steered you well, the middle IS the line.
Yep! that high line is pretty smooth! He rides here regularly that's why I trust his instructions lol
This looks sick, the fog in the beginning really adds to the effect.
Thanks! When theres no fog, it has great view of the oceanside. Both conditions are nice 👍
🥺 My face when you turned your camera uphill on that sketchy section.
Gopro effect is real lol
That was so sick dude! The fog definitely adds to the gnar of the footage, but it really doesn’t look like it needed it. Those trails looked so good. Really nice work man
That trail no joke! Such a fun trail.
Nice riding & cool video... Haven't hit Mile yet.... looking forward to it....( that rocky steep section 😬)...
Thanks bro! Yeah check it out, try the high line in the middle 🤙🏽
Want to go to Pacifica for sure 🤙🏻
One of the best in the Bay for sure. Excellent views too
Awesome video and content as usual. Thanks for sharing and hope to cross paths on the trail 💯👌🤙🏼
Thanks! Appreciate the support. Where so you usually ride?
@@TrailDad Rancho San Vicente is my home track as it’s the closest. I also ride Joaquin Miller and Pacifica, coyote hills regional and a few others and always looking at new trails 👍
After watching this I feel like eating chicken adobo and lumpia for some reason. Haha good video fellas, I actually I always feel like eating that.
Awesome! I went here a couple months ago for my first time (alone on my hardtail) and it’s definitely intimidating. I walked up some of it just to scope it out and decided to only hit that last step down and lap Boyscout which was my original plan. Can’t believe how much work has been put into all those jumps/features!
kudos on riding a hardtail on boyscout! the jumps are indeed very well built, big thanks to the builders
@@TrailDad thanks man! It was fun for sure but definitely got a little bumpy at the very end. Just watched your other video on it and I’m sure soon enough you’ll be back and hitting some more jumps there 🤘
great video. rode two pines on my hardtail today - real wild! first time riding in Pacifica - usually go north from SF.
It's best in spring after the rain makes the rocks sticky due to lack of moon dust. Ride crack next!
Still not sure on Crack, but will check it out next time I go
Good stuff bro
thank you bro! thanks. for watching
Nice idol

Hopefully you've gotten back there since this vid. On a clear day. Those views. Wowee Wow Wow.
I have but didn't bring my GoPro!! For sure next time I will get a footage of this beautiful place. Can't wait for your footage!
3:45 sketchy lupet mo idol dito. . I’ve never been to Pacifica . Looks like a fun and tech trail.
thanks bro! you should check it out. beautiful views of the pacific ocean and really nice trails.🤙🏽
ay dol
salamat sa pagturo ng tamang daan 😆
Been there twice and both times I walked that part of the Mile.
You should try to session it by sections
Can you give me direction how to get to that starting point? looks so nice!!! note: I've never been there before!!
been there 2x and its nice trail out there. only thing is the mile trail its gnarly.
Its definitely tough but you can ride it slower and controlled
How you get there!
🤙🏻🤙🏻
I want to go
Lodi, ano yung mga trails na dinaanan nyo? Like yung pagkakasunod sunod? We might hit Pacifica next week and it’s our first time TIA
The first trail it’s unnamed. Nde ko alam kng saan un i just followed lol. The second one thats gnarly is called Mile trail. Sa trailforks, boyscout trail is the jump trail
Gotcha! Thanks!🤘🏼
Nice! Glad you finally got to ride Ptown. Just got home from there btw 😃🤘
Yeah finally! Im lovin the place. Hows the dirt? Still loose?
@@TrailDad actually not too bad. They've done some work on the trails, so running pretty good right now
Should of done the playground good jump practice for ya🤘🏽
Thats the next video 🤙🏽😂. Just starting to learn how to jump though
You should go and ride briones
I've only been there once, and only rode H&F. the climbs are brutal! but i heard it has some sick trails. i need to go back
