I'm using iphone6 to have video recording of my teaching and wanting to have my audio output from x air 16. How to connect it and what are the needed materials?
Hello, I'm not sure if someone can help here, but yesterday I was recording a venue that I had to mix live... I thought to give my recently bought new umc404hd a try in live situation. I consequently sent a single mix signal from the digital console to the audio interface through a standard xlr cable, then connected it to the laptop with an usb cable. Everything was running fine as I was able to see the track signal coming in through the meter (tracktion 7 - Asio4All updated driver). I armed the channel for recording and hit the record button once the concert started and it went on showing the wave... but at around 23 minutes down the line, the wave just disappeared but the tracking line was still running normally and all the recording buttons were on. I thought that it was some kind of "stealth" mode as I'm pretty new on Tracktion. At the end, I hit the stop button, but the channel strip was and remained empty. So I went to check the archive folder and there I found the part of the recording of about 23 minutes long only... My laptop is a Dell e6220 i5-2520 4Gb RAM Win 7 64 Bits with a 320 Gb HD which most of it is empty. Could anyone give me a pointer on what could possibly bring that issue? Many thanks in advance
If anyone can point me in the right direction, Im hoping it is you. In April I set up an in ear monitoring/ recording unit for my band's live performance. Im running an xr18 mixer into a windows 10 laptop ( I've tried 2 different ones) Im using reaper to send backing tracks and a click thru USB sends and using audio inputs 1-12 for the live instruments and midi from the drums. And recording those audio inputs into reaper while the backing tracks play. However 2 weeks ago I can no longer do that cuz when I hit record, reaper freezes 9 sec in and goes into not responding. I have discovered it will now only record 1 stereo track or 2 mono tracks and one midi track. That is all that will record without freezing... not sure if it is reaper, the xr18 ASIO driver or the xr18 firmware.. any ideas?
what analog mixer could you use to multitrack record in a DAW for a podcast that comes at a good price from Behringer? i currently have a Mackie ProFx12v2 USB Mixer but it doesn't support multitrack recording.... i would like to be able to find one that i can record on seperate channels at the same time
I downloaded and installed both X Air (for window) and Tracktion 5. My mixer is XR-12. When open the tracktion under setting/Audio Devices/; there is no XR12 show up. Could you please instruct me how to make it available? Do I need any driver for the XR12 in order for the Tracktion to see it. Thanks
+Mike Ng This is not possible with the XR12/XR16 Digital Mixers, only the X18/XR18 models of X AIR support multitrack recording to your DAW. The XR12/XR16 models are only able to playback/record a stereo WAV file with a USB thumb drive.
Hello Behringer, can I perform a multitrack with 16 channels recording to my DAW, and also have a live performance (with the same 16 channels sources), with the XR18 ??
+HarpoSpoke Did you make sure in Tracktion Settings to select ASIO as the Audio Device Type? If you are on a Windows Pc then you will also want to download the latest drivers from our website and install them on your computer. Hope this helps!
+Mike Ng You can find the correct drivers on our website in the product downloads section, here's the link to our website: www.music-group.com/brand/behringer/home
+Freemont SUV The X18/XR18 X AIR models are able to handle multi-track recordings to your favorite DAW where the XR16/XR12 can only record a stereo 2-track recording to a USB thumb drive.

Hi, I am planning to buy the Behringer X32, just wondering if it also comes with tracktion and I don't need to buy expansion card for multi track recording. Thanks!
The X32 does include an free unlock code for Tracktion 5 DAW software when you register your product on the Behringer website. And while a number of expansion cards are available for the X32 line of digital mixers, Our newer models come with preloaded with the X-USB 32x32 Audio interface Card included in the price of your purchase. This way you can record with your X32 right out of the box!
Hi! Can I use XR 12 for multitrack recording? Thanks

Yes! You can record up to 18 channels simultaneously while mixing your live show at the same time.
This product just ROCKS ! you guys ROCK !
As usual important settings are forgotten. To get 18/18 USB channels, set USB interface to 18/18 in the audio/Midi Setup !!
Hi, I use mixcraft is there a possibility that I can record multi-track?
Thanks!
+Manx Keys Yes you can multitrack record with the X18 and XR18 Mixers.
Can I record 4 different tracks simultaneously in Tracktion with Behringer UMC404HD? And are these tracks mono or stereo?
+Ottis19 Yes you can, they would be 4 mono tracks.
Thank you very much
Sure looks easy when you go to input and output and select the X-18. Too bad it isn't even listed on mine as an option.
+HarpoSpoke Did you make sure in Tracktion Settings to select ASIO as the Audio Device Type? If you are on a Windows Pc then you will also want to download the latest drivers from our website and install them on your computer. Hope this helps!

This isn't possible with a Q802USB or a Q502USB right?
+Kit Comia You can certainly do this with our USB Mixers. :)
Separate tracks in the DAW from different channels via USB? How?
+Kit Comia No you can't do a separate multitrack recording, you are only able to achieve a 2-track stereo recording with our XENYX USB mixers.
Does it work with XR12?
+Freemont SUV The X18/XR18 X AIR models are able to handle multi-track recordings to your favorite DAW where the XR16/XR12 can only record a stereo 2-track recording to a USB thumb drive.
+BEHRINGER Can you show us how to setup the sterero 2 track recording via traction and XR-12
