      Hi Nicholas thank you for watching the video and for such kind words! It means a lot!! My passion is to discover less known locations and share them with the world. There's a lot of destinations that are overly shared online and I believe there's many more that deserve more recognition and to be shared with the world, and that's the case of many places in Hungary for sure! I hope you stick around for more videos and have a lovely weekend! ☺️

      Lake Balaton is not unknown in the surrounding countries (Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Austria) at all, especially in Germany.
      Check it, a bit of history: Deutsche Einheit am Balaton (German Unity at Balaton).
      At some places there are so many German guests, that there is even a German market in Fonyód (called Pullovermarkt) with 80% of German guests on every Wednesdays and Saturdays.
      But outside Germany and the surrounding countries it is quite unknown, yes.

    • @danielazziptrips
      @danielazziptrips  2 года назад +1

      @@msz2363 I believe you! I personally never heard about it before and I have spoken to many people from different countries who enjoy travelling yet never heard about it. I guess it might be because I am from Portugal and living currently in England, so Hungary is not a country that gets a lot of attention here. From what I see, most people just really know Budapest, which I personally think it's a shame!

    I visited Hungary with my family many years ago when I was a child and still have a vague memory of it, my Grandma was originally from Hungary but escaped to England in the WW2, I’ve always wanted to go back there to see what it’s like now and visit some of my Grandma’s side of the family but never managed to get the time to do so, finding your video was great especially to see some of the places I remember, Thanks for the great video 👍

If you like the Tapolcai Tavasbarlang Then I highly recommend the Aggtelek Stalactite Cave, which is the largest cave system in Hungary and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Plus, there’s plenty to do in that region. I also recommend the eastern regions of Hungary to visit, for example, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Heves county or even Hajdú-Bihar county, as there are still the greatest values of our country! Gombóc Artúr is not the main character, but he is a really prominent one. Also, if you asked him, what is his favourite kind of chocolate, this would be his answer: The circular chocolate, the square chocolate, the long chocolate, the short chocolate, the round chocolate, the flat chocolate, the solid chocolate, the hollow chocolate, the wrapped chocolate, the naked chocolate, the whole chocolate, the bitten into chocolate, the sweet chocolate, the bitter chocolate, the tube shaped chocolate, the chocolate that has peanuts in it, the milk chocolate, the liqueur chocolate, the leftover chocolate from yesteryear, this years chocolate and every kind of chocolate that are made on this Earth.

    Hello ! You deserve much more views !!
    You should cut this long videos and upload them as shorter videos and create more simple and clickbait title and thumbnail and upload daily or 3 times a week.
    Try to imagine your youtube homepage as your competition if there are more interesting videos then ur videos will get less views.
    These videos are really well edited and everything, But you need to make them more interesting and simplier so average people will watch it too. (For example: I found the the most beautiful lake in europe. And thumbnail: map -> the balaton -> red circled or a nice balaton picture (change your thumbnails until you find the best click % (sry for my bad english.) . I just wanna help you because you deserve A LOT more views with this amount of work. I have youtube channel with 50million views and i started 1 year ago.

      Ahahaahah I knew it 🤣🤣 I get that as I also find it quite funny, even cute, when overseas visitors mention the places that they have been to in Portugal, but it's perfectly normal since they don't speak Portuguese. To be honest, it is easier for English speakers to understand what I am talking about if I pronounce the places with English accent, so most of the time I end up going with that. Well, I hope that at least I could make you smile a bit while listening to my pronunciation 🤣🤣

      Hi Andy, I honestly don't know why you feel so pressed about this. As I said in the video, we did not have a lot of time, and hiking there would take too long so we had to decide what to prioritise. I love hiking, and have no problem doing it, so that wasn't the issue. I organise my trips and plan what to see in a day. It doesn't always go as planned and sometimes I have to change my itinerary and decide to skip certain locations because of lack of time. Apologies if you felt any type of way with what I said, I was just explaining why we ended up missing that place
