This song made me cry, I miss someone so much and want them back in my arms again. True Ace song, licks are awesome, vocals spot on and this is like someone said an unspoken classic!
Now there's this song again on the new album and it's the same song with better production. I hope you are able to listen with just the memories of the emotions and are light years beyond, with Ace. 6yrs ago, are you still out here in Denver?@@MikeyinDenver
@@petera.michaelsen4657I really hope nothing has been changed other than sound quality potential and the few secs of silence removed from the beginning 🥺 I adore that song so much! 💙
I really think this is the greatest unreleased song I've ever heard. The pre-chorus must be the best every written, totally commercial and heartfelt and powerful. The chorus is near perfect and the guitar solo is beautiful, raunchy and emotional all in one. If Ace doesn't record and release this properly it would be a tragedy.
Awesome, Ace is one of my biggest influences when it comes to playing the guitar. When I first became a Kiss fan, I wasn't much for the guitar and such but after seeing Ace I started bugging my parents to get me a guitar, well they got me an electric but I haven't played it much since I get the cords all confused but i'm gonna keep doing my best so when I am in a band I can rock the stage just like Ace! I love Ace
No disrespect to Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, but anyone who says Ace Frehley was not the core sound of Kiss is not accurate. His solo albums have all been awesome and when he returned for the reunion tour their sound had returned to what it was like during the 70's. Again though that's just my opinion.
proof positive that ace the real talent behind kiss.this song couldve been a radio hit.i love kiss but paul and gene need to remember that without his musical genious they wouldnt be what they became.tell me im lying, i dare u to.
I think without Ace, KISS would've had Bob or Bruce Kulick playing lead guitar and their sound would've been so much different and not naturally organic the way Ace played. Ace is responsible for a large part of the KISS sound, for sure.
When you have no information it doesn,'t mean you are lying! Info: Paul wrote "Detroit Rock City". Bob Ezrin arranged it and taught Peter for hours and hours how to play drums. Then he SANG the 🎸 parts to Ace. Do you see? ITS WORK AND TEAMWORK Ace may tell you that he is genius. But the 🎸 solo, the producer was singing to him how to play. Noone gets paid for his talent, but for WORK.
ace really was a good singer, and a great guitar player,in my opinion most likely one of the best rock of all time,it was a pleasure to meet you ace frehley
From the one and only true SPACEMAN OF KISS,AWESOME song.Ace should put this out as a single on a new cd and really push it,it's just a great song-an UNRECOGNISED CLASSIC!!!!
@spaceace22 "unrecognized" is the right word. We don't know, if the band THE SWEET did lawsuits because plagiat or so. In about 2009 Ace covered the song officially. Then he must have paid for the rights. But as long as lawsuits are going on, noone can release a song. Did Ace write about this in his book? I don't think so.
Ace will never be looked upon as some great singer and wont be looked upon as some kind of technical guitar wizard either and not 1 Ace fan will give a shit either and no doubt nor will he, even if he took lessons his voice would probably still sound the same, personally i like his voice its part of the reason he is my favourite member
This would have been a HUGE hit for him. I believe it still would be. I myself like his harder stuff. But this would have been BIG. Ace where are you. Tour in 2010. Northern California is calling. WE WANT ACE. WE WANT ACE.
This WAS A HUGE HIT! For the British band THE SWEET "Fox On The Run". Maybe there were lawsuits for a long time. Did Ace write in his book? Idk. Finally, in about 2009 he covered the song again. Probably, he bought the copyrights.
@spacefrehley100 yeah its also in his new Book. im excited about it & defintly want to hear the songs. also a new Ace CD i wanna hear, mybe this year Hopfully.
doesnt really matter if he released it as a single, all these @#$@@$! radio stations would not have played it anyway majority refuse to play anythin kiss related
This is really a great tune. I can easily see how a polished up, finished version would have been popular on radio. Does anyone know what year this is from?
@linkin70 funny you mentioned that. just 2 weeks ago i was on the official Ace site & thats what hes doing. Re-recording the songs for a newer CD. some demos are in good qulity But most need to be redone.
@S Albro lol i hear what your saying.. the gutar part goes do do do do do.................................do dodododo............like...fox on the runnnnn.... fox on the run...
I feel like a bad person bc I'm in class rn and I accidentally got marker on my friends jacket(it's a denim jacket, but it looks good) she doesn't seem to mind but I still feel really bad
where is everyone, let's drink some Cold Gin, and Fracture these mirrors. why has no one written on here in a month, let's take that Rocket Ride through the Ozone and get Wipedout.
So happy to hear this is going to be re-released on Aces new album 10,000 volts!!!!!
Same ❤❤❤❤
Ace is no fool. He sees how many views this song gets. Time to cash in! More power to him.
@brightbite it was Steve Brown's idea to record it. He says so in a few interviews.
@@johnnyspice8173 damm that’s awesome. I wonder what interviews
Great song!
Coming here cause Ace posted he's going to rerecord this song for his newest album!
Can not believe this song was just set to the side. Great song. Ace writes really good stuff
Apparently, this song will appear on Ace's next album in 2024

Ace is finally releasing it!

It is already in the KISS movie "Detroit Rock City".
The original song is "Fox On The Run" by the British band THE SWEET. And was a huge hit.
@@LeprechaunJackson I'm sure it's going to sound killer, I believe Anton will be playing drums on that one!

Never heard this, but good song. Ace comes up with really good stuff.
This actually could have been a hit in the 80s. How was this not good enough to release but "Juvenile Delinquent" and "Dolls" were?
ace really was a good singer, and a great guitar player,in my opinion most likely one of the best rock of all time,it was a pleasure to meet you ace frehley

beautiful song
All Hail to the space man from Jendel
Man this should’ve been released
It was "released" in 1974.
Compare to "Fox On The Run" by THE SWEET.
And Peter. Please do not forget him. The SOUL of KISS.

The "true" star is the band THE SWEET "Fox On The Run". Ace likes very much to cover.
Te amo Ace
This is effing great!👍
for a copy of this song just record it back into your puter by looping the headphones to the sound card and hitting the recorder.
of course now you can just load up a page called you tube to mp3 and get it also.
Excellent song!
The main riff in this song is really close to the riff on Fox On the Run.

You are right THE SWEET in 1974.
Sounds like ELO Cant get it outta my head
It's okay every woman I ever had never cared for me when it's over it's over next

Love his song. It pains me to see any photos of Ace and alcohol though.
If Eddie Money did this song in 87/88 it woulda been a Hit !

Better than anything Gene or Paul wrote. Amazing song.
Only if you ignore that this song is a copy of "Fox on The Run" by THE SWEET. Compare to the original huge hit in 1974

This sounds a little like Fox on the run, which he covers on his origins album.
Fox on the Run but also Do Ya from ELO and I'll supply the Love from Toto

"Fox On The Run" is more similar.
