I listened on Audio book as well and one day I was listening in my car on the way home from work and James was talking about farts and I was laughing so much the guy in the car next to me was giving me strange looks lol

James you do know vinegar is widely used in indian cooking. Proper vindaloos have it for example. Also that fart at 13 mins was perfectly timed with my own, thought Clair was asking me if I had farted 🤣🤣🤣

There is a valve in the bottom that will have lifted and it stops the dishwasher from draining (I know this as mine did the same 3 weeks ago 😅). Google it, you have to take the bottom bit of the front and dry the water then reset the little floaty valve. Ps: James would defo win I’m a celeb if he entered
the non return valve and the fan is prob stopped from working by the pumpkin seeds.
Why is a Fart such Comedy Gold! lets not forget Peter Sellers in the lift... Lets also never forget "Do you think we will last another 10 years" followed by a ripper!!! Now that's comedy Gold but also answering your own question James... its all in the timing.
Run a finish dishwasher cleaner with the filter out on the hottest setting. Works a treat! Our dishwasher is called Doris 😅 Love your blogs 🥰

I studied forensic science at uni 15 years ago and we once had a 3 hour lecture on dust. It was the longest 3 hours of my life. This vlog reminded me of that day. Keep up the good work guys 😊

Yes to the Smash, now this will sound weird but try it with warm scotch eggs grated carrot and mayo and serve the smash out with an ice cream scoop like school used to , really , you should try it, And a happy Anniversary 🤗

Belated Happy 10th Wedding Anniversary - I love that you laugh at his farts Clair. More boring? I've been working and taking my rubbish down to the bins. I work at home (self-employed) live in a flat and I have three outside bins; Grey bin = Food Waste, Green = cardboard recyclable, Black = everything not recyclable. Now that's excitement for you. Ohh and for some reason unknown to me my little toilet (I don't often use it) is not filling... excitement! I also love Smash!
I spent a lot or time fixing our old dishwasher... bits stuck in the filter thing and it had to be taken to bits to clear out. We had insurance for it, but they took weeks to arrive, so I ended up doing it myself every time.
I'm so pleased it's not just me. We ended up replacing it with a much cheaper brand, and this one hasn't (yet) failed.
That first fart was a great fart. Farting like that is a talent.

After the first day of an expensive dishwasher packing in i'd be straight on the phone to the installer or manufacturer "get this broken shite out and bring a new one with you. ill be in on tuesday for you".

I have dishwasher problems every day but I am a white goods engineer. It will need to be de installed and clear out the pump and possibly clean drain hose. They have non return valves on so it will only flow out and not in. Best cleaner you can use is called care and protect. Made by hoover candy. 17.99 for a years supply on the hoover shop or on Amazon. Once a month treatment and removes limescale, degreases gunk, stops smells and maintains the appliance. You can also use in washing machine.
Make sure the wire coming from the tap to the metal cylinder hasn't unplugged, and also make sure the button on top of the cylinder is glowing red. If not press the top to turn it on. That's if it's a quooker tap. Hope that helps

I bought your audio book. I can’t be arsed reading but I don’t mind listening. I have a journey coming up in a week or two, or possibly three. I’ll need to confirm with my wife. She probably did tell me but I wouldn’t have had my listening ears on. I may have just contradicted myself about listening and the audio book! Anyway, I’m saving up my listening time for that trip and I’m really looking forward to hearing all your stories.

If the dishwasher isn't draining, that's normally due to the waste hose being blocked OR not being in the correct position (it needs to go upwards, where it comes out the dishwasher at the back, so that the waste water doesn't run back into the dishwasher).
Sausage n mash is a classic.
Onion gravy is a must imo 👌🏻✌🏻
Looks like your impeller motor is jammed/stuck in your dishwashers guys. Take all the drain covers out and drain the water with a sponge and bowl. Then put your hand down the hole until you find the impeller motor (it may have a clip on cover over it) and check that it’s spinning freely. If not try and get it moving again with your fingers. This should fix the draining issue. Good luck
