- On today's adventure we take a more challenging hike on one of the most popular hikes just outside of DC. It's the Billy Goat Trail A, at Great Falls National Park on the Maryland Side and it is pretty awesome! In this video I do the full hike and show you some of the highlights!

I've hiked all over the country and I think this is one of the most unique hikes anywhere due to the scenery and tough terrain. If you are not in shape, it's no joke. Water is a must on a warm day.
Good idea to visit this place during this summer!!….thanks DMV Adventure!!….🙌
Great video! Will definitely be going soon!
I went on a Friday when it was "hot" so there were about 2 groups of peeps and me on the trail that day. I only briefly saw the other 2, and it was chill. I went the next day Saturday, seemed there were hundreds of people going. So for me it was nicer with no peeps, but when peeps are in front of you, you don't get lost or aren't surprised by the upcoming challenges. So I recommend doing a Friday if you can have a day off.
Awesome trail! I’ve done this a couple of times.
Yeah, it is amazing for the location, good times
What's the accompanying music/song in the background? Very nice.
Thank you!
Great video! Quick question, did you hike the Maryland or Virginia side?
The Billygoat trails on the Maryland side. There’s some hiking on the Virginia side, but it’s not as fun as the Billygoat Trail. There was also a letter. I can’t remember if it was A B or C. But it’s the most popular trail and it’s a really good trail.
Just remember, folks, you’re in the middle of a huge metropolitan area of about 5 million people. Riding a bike on the C&O towpath from Georgetown to Great Falls is a lot easier, equally scenic. About 25 miles round trip.
I had no idea the Billy Goat trail was so dangerous!
Its def not for beginners, but its not too bad. The 1 part going up the mountain is pretty tough. Everything else just stay away from the edges :D
Important for some to know that no dogs are allowed on this trail,
