- I went with @dutchguysgarage to a very cool junkyard and finally got most of what I needed to get this car back together.

Lots of goodies there!!
Yes there was.
I'm amazed that there's still these R bodies in the junkyard 😊
Me too, I got lucky to find what I needed.
Awesome. Sad to see all of them there but at least you scored some parts. That Dutch guy came through.
Dusten definitely helped me out. It's good those cars were saved and not crushed.
#8 👍🏼 I be mounting some Longhorns onto them! 😂
Thanks for the tingles and jingles!
💓💋
Maybe in Texas
Mantap bosky semoga diberikan kesehatan
Hopefully it's going to work out , couple of good finds.
Just have to work on the fender now
Oh the humanity!!... Theres some nice old C bodys there shame they stack them!..... But glad you can find parts.
There was some good stuff. It's too bad I didn't have more time there.
Glad you found parts!
So am I.
🍟
🥓🥔🛸
Nice to see you got the parts you needed. How far did you have to travel to find the Mopar boneyard with all the goodies?
It was over 3 hours one way. I was glad there were some good parts for me there.
Glad to see you found the parts you needed.
Me too a lot of places were way over priced.
Good find Broski!! BOOM BABY!
Definitely
Wow! That's a lot of "R" body's in one yard!
It's the most I have ever seen in one place.
Good find Nathan! Stoked you got parts!
Definitely in better shape now.
Glad You were able to get the parts.
Definitely a relief to have parts
I told ya the parts are out there......easy peasy to find them.
Highland Chrysler (on the first vehicle) was located at 1350 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.
1st vehicle with the VIN for the win: T for Chrysler New Yorker, P for Premium price class, 42 for four door B-pillar hardtop, K for 360 CID V8 with two barrel, 9 for 1979 model year, A for Lynch Road, Detroit, MI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Lynch Road facility closed in April 1981.
2nd vehicle with the VIN for the win: 1C3 for US made Chrysler passenger car, B for manual seat belts, R for New Yorker, 57 for four door, K for 318 CID V8 with two barrel, 1 is a check digit, B for the 1981 model year, A for Lynch Road, Detroit, MI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. This could be one of the last vehicles made at Lynch Road as it closed in April 1981 and depending on where the sequence started, it could be towards the end. The fender tag or driver's door jamb label is needed to see the date of assembly.
The only problem I had was finding a nice fender there. I have to do some work on the one I found.
@@NathansMoparGarage Hopefully everything is reasonably priced. Looks like the yard is in Michigan based on some of the plates on the cars there and the dealer logos on the trunks.
Unfortunately more rust belt cars. The price was better than other places.
You get what you get, and you don't get upset......those "R" bodies don't grow on trees, except in that yard. LOL.
Yeah I have never seen that many in one place before.
Nice to find what you were looking for.
It's not so easy to find parts anymore.
*DUDE!* 😃 I'm glad you found some good parts Nathan! 🔧🔩
I just have to do some work on the fender and I should be able to put it back together.
