Going on my first cruise in March 2023 and it will be in Disneys Magic out of New Orleans! I cannot wait! I have been watching all cruise videos and even though I don’t even really know if I will like cruising (I’m sore I will!) but I am excited to try many different cruise lines. I’m sure DCL will spoiled me though! Really enjoy your cruise vlogs… they are def your niche
I have 8226 next March. Looking quite different than my just completed (and first ever), cruise to Alaska on the Holland America/Westerdam. The stewards there were constantly in the halls. Also, there were abundant outlets for charging - even dedicated USB chargers next to the bed. The Westerdam balcony seemed a bit deeper than this. This was really important on an Alaska cruise (and getting a balcony in Alaska is a *must*) since I was constantly out on it taking some fantastic photos!
What a great idea to review the room after you've been staying in it for a day or two. The glass in the bathroom is used for people that use mouthwash or perhaps have denture work that needs to be cleaned. I would, however expect it to be farther away from the toilet for sanitary sake. :)
Funny you mention not seeing cabin steward. My last cruise was on celebrity July 2019 to Bermuda and we probably saw our steward once or twice the entire 6-7 days.
Maybe your room steward was a ghost steward?..LOL...We go on MSC Meraviglia in January, really looking forward to something different, the spice of life is trying new things! Thanks for the room tour!
Unfortunately the shaking is inevitable that close to the thrusters, any ship I’ve been on but then again it’s not all the time. Thanks for a great video Michael!
Not a bad room! On our first cruise I felt the shaking as we were entering the port at the Bahamas and went into panic mode. Had no idea as a first time cruiser!
It's not to save power it's a fire hazard to charge your devices when you are not in the room. It's actually against the rules to charge when out of the cabin.
Nice tour! Very helpful for my Sept sailing!

I find that crazy! When I’m on Disney cruises I see the room steward at least once a day.

I think Royal may have an extra pad/mattress cover, so you don't feel the gap between the split beds.

Great cabin. Unfortunately the shaking is inevitable that close to the azipod thrusters. Happens on every ship I've been on.

Outlets beside bed ?
Great tour!! Our cabin would definitely not look that organized after 1 day!!

Thanks for taking us along how fun !
How much should one budget for a cruise like this one?
Thank you.
I’m pretty sure those cups in the bathroom are for your toothbrushes
