TH won 10 rounds on defense and G2 won 11. Clearly they didn't "choke" the map is just defense sided.
Once again G2 has shown that they are the kings of composure and mentally resillience, thought it was over when TH was at 11-2. went and switched off the stream and is excited for 100TvsPRX & G2vsFUT, just to come back and see that it was still live, then seeing the masterclass G2 put on.
Each player have proven that they belong in the team, icy proved that the roster move to bench net for him a positive change for the team and cemented himself as a successful duelist
Leaf has added firepower and agressiveness into his sentinel role, where people thought he could only play duelist but seeing him now, i think he is better suited to be a sentinel
G2 might be the favourite to win here, and i think between GENG and G2 is going to be Shanghai's winner. If the former were to happen, it is defo a CN nightmare

I was unrealistically disappointed in this game for the Heretics. They really need to improve their offensive strategy. It's simple and very obvious. why did they keep rushing in without being careful of Trent's Odin???? Really don't understand. It's a shame because they could have definitely won the game 2-0.

Their t side can be a bit predictable. Their mid rounding is not that good. Compared to g2 who excel in punishing any mistakes. If a team is well rounded they will win against g2. Heretics simply had a weakness that can be exploited.

The crowd is chearing a lot for Heretics. This is because Woot streamed on bilibili (Chinese video/streaming platform) and Benjyfishy also made a bilibili account and promised to stream once in shanghai. Even with the Chinese teams gone. A lot of them have grown to love Heretics and were cheering them to take the win over G2, but then we all know what happened haha.

@@steverichardson7971 People still cheer on a good comeback. If you go on Huya and Bilibili, you will see greater support for Heretics. You are also viewing this through a highlights video which doesn’t show the full picture as the full vod. My English is not great, but if you go on those Chinese platforms, you would understand the appreciations fans have for teams that try to immerse themselves more with Chinese fans.
You should also see Boaster’s Bilibili account. The China fans love him there especially since he even sing Chinese songs sometimes. They console him and compliment him more than his own toxic countrymen.
The crowd tries to do better for non Chinese teams, but we are still going to have bias for teams like FNC and Heretics even if you hear cheering for G2 also. I am only Vietnamese migrant living in Guangzhou so I may not be able to give full context compared to a Chinese person. It may be better to go to Bilibili itself to compare the level of support

Just mentality diff. Being 11-2 up is easy to think you will win its just 2 rounds and the rounds just snowball until its too late. I think heretics are incredibly good but what they lack in comes with experience and time

Now it's clear to me who's the real dark horse this tournament, it take such a great mental strength to comeback after getting destroyed on the first map and turning things around on ascent, G2 is the dark horse and teams should take them seriously just like any other top teams out there
