Unique Minerals
It’s not just that Evan Jones is Show Host Bob Jones’ son that gets him on What’s Hot In Tucson every year. It’s that Evan, and his partner Marc Miterman, ALWAYS have incredible mineral specimens to share with us via their company Unique Minerals. At mineral shows around the world you’ll find Evan and Marc making the rounds and finding all kinds of wonderful specimens. Like the ones shared here.
Included in this clip are minerals such as:
Quartz cluster from La Gardette, France
Amethyst Sceptres from Zambia
Amethyst cluster from Guerrero, Mexico
Large “Strawberry” Quartz crystal from Chihuahua, Mexico
“Strawberry” Quartz sphere from Chihuahua, Mexico
Green “Kiwi” Calcite in petrified wood from Utah

The region of Gilgit-Baltistan, rich in natural beauty, is not only famous for tourism Rare precious and semi-precious stones of the world The center is also the area of Gilgit-Baltistan, where various types of precious and semi-precious stones, metals are found. To all of us James Stone collectors Welcome. By : Veteran James Mying Groups Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan
The La Gardette quartz just looks like a similar one in display in Bourg d'Oisans ( Musée des Minéraux et de le Faune des Alpes)
A "must see" if you ever visit this area in the french Alps !
I found a form of quartz I have not seen before. It is clear as glass and crystalline but has grown in sheets between layers of mica giving it a silver crocodile skin texture on the outer surface. Many of the pieces have such organic forms that they look like fossilized bones.
Wish they woulda also zoomed on the amethyst dispersed in gold (?) beside the scepters, and the gold dispersed in clear quartz behind...?
Maravilhoso ❤️

Does anyone know where i can find such showcases?
Graham Sutton from the Collectors Edge in Golden, CO has a side business where he builds display cases. They are great cases and I even bought one for the Keiki Mineral Club (local mineral club I started for the kids of Hawai’i). Check out his company called It’s West Display. He can work with you on a custom solution. itswestdisplay.com
That cut looks just like a fossil sea urchin, seabisquit

Sorry. Someone apparently has been posting a lot of comments like those. I just reported them as Spam so hopefully we’ll see less of them.
