Rebellion is a Classic but DSD's Design is just straight up Lava and Fire with the Dragon Claw Crossguard and Ethereal clone swords and the Ability to split to reveal the Insane Core. The Devs Really knocked it out of the Park with DSD
I'm glad everyone in here isn't going out of there way to complain or argue, like they're just glad we're not getting another game in the reboot series... although if we did, seriously ditch one of the dodge buttons and add a lock on, it would then be at least interesting, my god I'm really playing this game because someone is letting me try it for free, what has 2020 done to me?
What you gotta love about these guys are not only the way they make what we ask but also the amount of effort they put into it EVERY single weapon we ask. Would die to see the workshop in person. Like stepping in willy wonka's chocolate factory.
Totally. They got me into making my own props. I use some of the grinding techniques you see in the VOD's and some improv forging ways for paper mache. Seeing them in action personally would be an honor.
Man at Arms: Reforged keeps getting better and better. Even though I'll never go into blacksmithing, I feel like I learn something whenever I watch, and it keeps me coming back for more.
Vinicius Tanaka the only thing different is the guard and the need to craft the scabbard it would be remaking the Ruroni kenshin katana just with a lethal edge
The only thing I was let down a little about this build is that they only had the skull on one side whereas in game it has the demon horn skull on one side with an open mouth and the human skull on the other side with the closed mouth to indicate the 2 sides of Dante though I completely understand why they couldn't do it.
Yes.. He did indeed cut and wield pieces together to make the sword rebellion. He used two 3d printed skulls that unlike these ones dont look like they could even open like they did in the game. This is a forged sword, with sculpted and cast pieces. Always someone around to say "That's wrong."
It's possible they, uh, _forgot_ to make the second skull, since at one point in the video the camera focuses on a paper with an image of both skulls printed on it.
+1 for the Red Queen, but Yamato is not that special by it's appearence (It's basically a rgular katana, though I still would like to see them make it. :D)
This has been my favourite for years. To see a real life version of it, with all the hard work and effort into bringing this weapon to life, makes me emotional. Awesome work guys!!
The best part about them making this beautiful sword out of Damascus, is that in Devil May Cry 5, the designed AND fully acknowledge that Rebellion is Damascus steel. So you guys made it nearly 100% accurate :)
Funny thing is its not real damascus they were using the damascus they use were layers of steel to pull off the pattern. True damascus from mines in india have been lost for hundereds of years. Its called woots lookninto some vids for it some scientists are attemping to recreate it.
Imagine how ridiculous it must have been to make swords back when they were commonplace weaponry? Even the most mundane swords must have taken days with wood fire forges, stone grind wheels, and smithing hammers. I wouldn't even want to imagine how long ornate specialty swords took to make.
Cop McScotland I think all of Dante's Devil Arms are cool ideas to add, but I'd also love to see some of the weapons from Onimusha! The Raisan and Shippu were my favorites!
I think they are planning to do the Dragonslayer, which is used by Guts, the character that influenced Artorias. Guts is from Berserk, which influenced Dark Souls.
is they are going to do the greatsword of artorias, i want that sword not another what look like that, like they did with the rebellion... (english isn't my first language)
I did..a while back. My only guess is the comment was deleted. BKS may not want customers to discuss prices. So all I will say is it was well below Albion's prices for a sword of like quality. Prices of course will vary depending on what you want.
Love! I personally like the Devil May Cry 2 version since it was the 1st game Rebellion was shown in and it was like final chapter in the Devil May Cry series
Adam Higgs Yeah it was a shitty game and the most boring version of Dante but the game introduced trickster and gunslinger which would be further polished in future games
***** Yeah when you play DMC4 it tells you that part 2 is actually the last chronologically. They probably did it that way to defend Dante's bland attitude.
+Raptormann0205 "can't use it effectively" what reason would you need to use it in this day and age and with the skull and bones its not a practical weapon to begin with, its nothing more then a decorative sword. I mean if you going though the trouble of making it for a show I would make it to scale. Its a awesome sword and they did a good job none the less.
FourAngelsX so you'd spend hundreds of dollars on a sword to hang it on your wall? I'm sorry I don't see any point at all in buying a weapon if you're not going to at least pick it up and use it. Why even pay for damascus steel if you're not going to use it? Just use stainless so that you don't have to maintain a very expensive wall hanger.
+Raptormann0205 You'd spend hundreds of dollars because of all the work that went into making it and I don't know of many places that make real videos game swords. If I spent hundreds on a sword I wouldn't want to use it out of fear of fucking it up by swinging a stuff, but I guess that's just me. It would be cool to swing around, but if I did I would probably look like a dumass doing it.
for all of you who're saying that it's not like the original and much smaller etc. etc. You have to remember that they have to make it out of fucking hand. If you're forging that much metal it won't be balanced or humanly possible to lift
The buster sword was usable to an extent and The Rebellion ways like 25% of the buster sword so i am sure they would have been able to atleast leave the blade a bit thicker so it didnt flex like a god damn leaf spring.
RAI DEN Historical greatswords were 5-8 lbs mate, scaling Rebellion to a greatsword would make it unnecessarily heavy for practical combat purposes. Then again, they created the Guts' War Sword from Berserk so it can be done. Ah well, still a great longsword version of Rebellion.
TheCrimsonIdol987 Yeah but that rebellion as it is is like a standard greatsword.. half a centimeter of extra metal to make it thicker would not make it way a ton.
RAI DEN Yeah, I guess you're right. I was coming from the historical view that swords generally have less bulky hilts, fullers, etc. to keep them light and manuverable. But since we're discussing fantasy weapons, why NOT make Rebellion a badass greatsword? :D
TheCrimsonIdol987 As it is now it would be fine for combat, but the days of sword combat are long gone so in my eyes a sword can be anything that represents the weapons of old....
AWE me Now that is what i like. You should definitely keep making as many weapons as you possibly can with the old school black smith methods. And i have a suggestion. Dawnbreaker from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
Hay everyone, I hope you all agree with me when i say we would like to see Asuna's rapier. One of the most popular anime shows ever and a personal favorite of mine. Keep up the awesome work it always turns out awesome
Matt Stagmer awesome should totally do it but if you do please go all out on it. not really sure how but my fav so far has been the meteor sword because of the obvious meteor forging. thanks for the fan service though guys loving seeing my fav weapons and armour come to life what i wouldn't give to have a play in your amoury i would deffinately end up hurting myself but i think i'd be cool with that.
Dante during church battle: "I'm gonna stab this mothafucka, then beat a whole bunch of other mothafuckas with THAT mothafucka!" This is why we love Dante
How about something a bit different... The Monado from Xenoblade Chronicles. Deactivated, of course. Bonus points if you use LEDs for the glowing components.
VestedUTuber That is awesome. But how about just using a blade instead of a giant laser? Then it's still sort of a functional piece:). Maybe in a couple of hundred years they can revisit it and build an actual replica in Man at Arms: Double Reforged, Tempered, and Lazors feat. Michael Jackson. And I'm not talking about some hologram, but an actual clone/cyborg MJ.
Derek O'Mill Well, that's why I recommended keeping it deactivated. We never actually get a truly detailed look at the edge of the physical blade, so for all we know it could be sharp.
Afro's sword from Afro Samurai would be awesome. Doubt anyone else will suggest it though. Oh well. Still want to let you guys know, you're an inspiration. I'm an amatuer knife maker but I want to do what you guys do. Watching these videos helps me keep that goal in mind, so thank you.
+Rowan Kaleo According to a previous video from season one, they can't sell the swords due to copyright laws, but it would cost an average of 800 to 1000 dollars, with a Damascus blade like this, custom design even, would probably be at minimum $1000.
Any dark souls sword. But I think either the Dark Wraith sword, moonlight great sword, either great sword of Artorias, or the Black Knight ultra great sword.
The zwei is a normal zwei. moonlight is cool and so is dark wraith. but as the one on the cover of dark souls special edition or whatever i think the abyss greatsword should be built. uncorrupted of course.
Hah! Like I thought, not full size I said to some people that it's impossible to lift a full size Rebellion but some say that they're strong enough to lift it (Cloud's Buster Blade) Small or not, Rebellion still a badass sword
Although this is by far the best video by Reforged in terms of the quality of the video, commentary, music,etc... I can't help but feel a little disappointed. This just wasn't the Rebellion I was hoping for. I understand needing to reduce the weight for usability but thats not what this channel is about. Its about bringing popular fictional swords to life. This was just a thin and small Rebellion. Besides the bronze details (which looks amazing by the way), the size difference made what was a badass sword into a regular sword. They could've atleast painted the bronze and wood. To me this video was a 9/10.
A sword that is too big to use is flat out useless and stupid. If you haven't noticed they've been all about making them functional weapons, not massive dust collectors. The only exception is the buster sword, but they were obviously reluctant to do that one considering how long they put it off.
Alvo Sonata And then save the mortal realm by fighting demons to death with it, and then give it to their twin holding beautiful human wife, so she will hand it to their son, who will keep it dearly in his shop which he opened for his dead mother and named for his dead brother... Wanna know the name......?
yeah i think so, too..but, if they make it the exact size like in the game, don't even thing to swing it even to carry the sword that big it's difficult.
@@bebenhardipriana9395 awe me man at arms s1 did make Cloud's Buster Sword and Sephiroth's Masamune in FULL SIZE, so why not Dante's massive Rebillion?
Oh gee. :o Matt, you should. You really should. I'm a huge LoK fan, that game was my childhood. If you manage to get the rest of the team behind that I think I won't even mind if I get hit by a train the day after. O-o Please? ;D
Rest In Peace, you badass sword. You were sacrificed to give birth to an even great blade.
You will be missed
I like rebellion more than dsd
@@stereowestaby510 aesthetic wise, I agree. But the Devil Sword Dante’s abilities puts Rebellion to shame. Makes it look like a toy in comparison

With DMC5 upcoming next year, you guys really HAVE to make the Red Queen!
No. I want to see them challenging themselves. Do Sparda.
Both sound like good projects.
Red queen irl that'll be hella badass

Klingon Bat'leth Scythe!
DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS
Actually the rebellion sword has two skulls, A human skull on one side and a devil skull on the other
I believe you are severely mistaken because I never noticed this, ever.
Sad to hear that you can't pay attention to detail then. :\ It's a human skull and a demon skull.
I can confirm this as there are a few times you can see quite clearly in DMC4 during Dante's missions.
who cares its cool
Jonathan Seagrave _Alastor and dante's others weapons shouldve made a comeback_

As much of a work of art this is, it would’ve been cool to see them make the sword to the actual size
Is it not? It's more than half of the length of the guy that made it, which is its length in game.
Dante is incredibly tall. hitting up to 190 cm@@jamesofthekaijukompendium
In the game, the sword is 3/4 the length of dante. It goes from above his head to about the back of his knees. Its also alot wider and thicker

awesome should totally do it but if you do please go all out on it. not really sure how but my fav so far has been the meteor sword because of the obvious meteor forging. thanks for the fan service though guys loving seeing my fav weapons and armour come to life what i wouldn't give to have a play in your amoury i would deffinately end up hurting myself but i think i'd be cool with that.
Cool, but... is too small
They need to make it realistic if they made it bigger it would be to heavy still completely worth it I want it so bad
eskoturn5000 Yeah but they didn't made the Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII realistic, I don't know, this one kind of feels like a let down to me.
The Buster Sword's shape was probably easier to replicate. And these are different guys making it.
Yup, seems like a random sword
+eskoturn5000 id still use it lol
I would love to see Vergil's Yamato and Nero's Red Queen
You guys know it time for the nero red queen sword right?
Make Mihawk's black blade from One Piece
Make a troll video where you confuse Dracule' Mihawks' blade (Named Yoru) and you instead make his cross-necklace dagger (Kogatana). Lol
Agree to
YES, I hope this show runs long enough to let me witness it in all of its glory.
How about a 1:1 Zweihander from Dark Souls?
+Fernando Silva Or Lost sinner's greatsword would be awesome
yeah I'd like to see that
+Fernando Silva moonlight sword... anyone?
+CandiBunni they made the artorias greatsword it'll come out in the future
+Fernando Silva Pursuer Ultra Greatsword
They seriously need to make Yamato eventually
Yamato isn't all that complicated of a design though. It's essentially just a katana despite it's gaming significance.
Justin's right, only difference would be it'd be longer and have a white handle.
Yeah but i rather see Yamato then Alice kitchen knife
Not just that, it has a unique scale design on the handle, and 2 dragons etched on the bottom of the handle.
yes
Dante during church battle: "I'm gonna stab this mothafucka, then beat a whole bunch of other mothafuckas with THAT mothafucka!"
This is why we love Dante
Make the Moonlight Greatsword from Dark Souls
Samuel Rodrigues Murasama from METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE. The Sword has a M16 body! (or M416? dunno). It would be great!
Do this
It has to be this way
This is a brilliant idea
hallofmirrorsandfun
i saw that shit you did
How about something a bit different...
The Monado from Xenoblade Chronicles. Deactivated, of course.
Bonus points if you use LEDs for the glowing components.
Ooh, that actually sounds pretty cool.
VestedUTuber yes..all de yes
That would be a great one! Also Xenoblade Chronicles is one of my favorite games ever.
Derek O'Mill
Well, that's why I recommended keeping it deactivated. We never actually get a truly detailed look at the edge of the physical blade, so for all we know it could be sharp.
this is so breathtaking, the whole process is so beautiful
Corvo's folding blade or mask from dishonored! that would be amazing!
Any advice on places or ways to learn more about bladesmithing? Anything would be greatly appreciated.
Ignore the naysayers! This DMC fan freaking LOVES how the look came out!! Absolutely beautiful blade!
Ps, how much would you sell that badass for?
+Rowan Kaleo According to a previous video from season one, they can't sell the swords due to copyright laws, but it would cost an average of 800 to 1000 dollars, with a Damascus blade like this, custom design even, would probably be at minimum $1000.
I just realized what would’ve made the sword testing perfect: _If you had Dante himself, Reuben Langdon, try it out!_
Can you make Yamato next? (Vergil's)
Can you do Vergil's yamato?
***** You mean Cerberus? Jesus I thought you were a fan... Why not do Beowulf
TheStalker oh my that would be sick. Just imagine kicking and punching vases.
This is definitely needed
+Blitz1993 If they did the Hattori Hanzō katana from Kill Bill, they can do the Yamato. It has an esp. distinctive handle and guard.
+Robert “James” Ferrolino Didn't the old blacksmith doing Man-At-Arms forge Yamato?
Praise Sparda! Than you guys for making this awesome ass sword!
Bless me, wisdom. Leaf iff of the tree, at night, dark cries.......
Any dark souls sword. But I think either the Dark Wraith sword, moonlight great sword, either great sword of Artorias, or the Black Knight ultra great sword.
Or the Zweihander :D
TheGamingWolfx *fire up the bass cannons*
Abyss Greatsword would be great.
Black knight halabard this one is epic
The zwei is a normal zwei. moonlight is cool and so is dark wraith. but as the one on the cover of dark souls special edition or whatever i think the abyss greatsword should be built. uncorrupted of course.
Hah! Like I thought, not full size
I said to some people that it's impossible to lift a full size Rebellion but some say that they're strong enough to lift it (Cloud's Buster Blade)
Small or not, Rebellion still a badass sword
Yuu Kannagi's blade part would be awesome... but I'm 100% sure they won't make it
Why people suggest redick swords... Please think the logic
Look up a channel called MichaelCthulu, he made and can hold a full sized buster sword.
Vestyxe From the name, he must have some muscle
He's a cool Irish dude who makes lots of badass swords.
Crescent Rose from RWBY! (sorry, only just realised it's Crescent not Crimson- no wonder you guys haven't done it yet :P)
HOW THE HELL WOULD THAT WORK?!
Kinzuko well it doesnt have to fold up, ive seen cosplayers make crescent rose before, and its easy to just have a blade instead.
That or Myrtenaster because both are awesome
I agree. Do Crescent Rose from RWBY!
Mackenzie Moisan The Myrtenaster would definitely be a bit more manageable, that and the Gambol Shroud.
Amazing, the only complaint, is its size, but i imagine it'd be almost impossible to wield,
great job
Beautiful craftsmanship, but isn't it way too small?
And too thin. see how it hobbles when they cut?
look up michaelcthulhu's channel. his is done to scale
I don't agree with your rating, but I agree with your point that they improved in video quality.
A sword that is too big to use is flat out useless and stupid. If you haven't noticed they've been all about making them functional weapons, not massive dust collectors. The only exception is the buster sword, but they were obviously reluctant to do that one considering how long they put it off.
Fuhrer Pingas they also made ichigo's big fish knife sword
kaosu66 It was still functional to some extent. The buster sword was just a giant chunk of metal. Still cool, but not a functional weapon.
Tony would try for 1:1 scale where as these guys tend to make them a bit more functionable
You guys forgot the part where you pour the blood of seven virgins during a pagan ritual in order to curse the blade.
Alvo Sonata And then save the mortal realm by fighting demons to death with it, and then give it to their twin holding beautiful human wife, so she will hand it to their son, who will keep it dearly in his shop which he opened for his dead mother and named for his dead brother... Wanna know the name......?
Amazing! a beautiful crafted replica of an amazing sword wield by the one and only true Demon Slayer Dante.
mini Rebellion
Yeah, very tinny
Yes!
Exactly my thoughts when I saw the guys cutting stuff. Meh nah, dante's rebellion would NEVER be that thin and easy to break
Yamato devil may cry 3
ai sim
sword of obedience silent hill 4.
danilo severo BR
Yes that would be amazing please make yamato
Vergil's Yamato from Devil May Cry
Blade of olympus please
Nice
Omg yes
I think the rebellion is little bit bigger does anyone else think that
I get the feeling as well.
Nah dude, it’s not a little bigger.
It’s a lot bigger, lmao.
yeah i think so, too..but, if they make it the exact size like in the game, don't even thing to swing it even to carry the sword that big it's difficult.
@@bebenhardipriana9395 its not meant to be swung be weak ass fuckbois
@@bebenhardipriana9395 awe me man at arms s1 did make Cloud's Buster Sword and Sephiroth's Masamune in FULL SIZE, so why not Dante's massive Rebillion?
That's one of my favourite swords checked, now show your skill and make Soul Reaver from Legacy of Kain. And make it look like bone-made! :D
Oh gee. :o
Matt, you should.
You really should.
I'm a huge LoK fan, that game was my childhood.
If you manage to get the rest of the team behind that I think I won't even mind if I get hit by a train the day after. O-o
Please? ;D
Matt Stagmer you should do Ichigo's sword after Bankai it looks so cool
Matt Stagmer yes please, you have to
C'mon, Haru's Ten Commandments from Rave Master...or Ryuko's Scissor Blade from Kill la Kill...or Pit's Palutena Bow from Kid Icarus
I read somewhere that Ryuko's Scissor Blade is in the queue to be made.
I'd like to see the Actual Vampire Killer or a Combat Cross from Castlevania: Lord of Shadows
Thanks
That would be awesome!
the combat "cross whip", would be awesome :D
Or Dracula's void sword in LOS 2 would be more appropriate
Both of them, the Dark Pain from Castlevania: Mirror of fate looks more beautiful, I think
The Devil Sword Sparta would be super challenging but dope to see!
