- Today I will make a very small plane for sharpening pencils. This plane is almost an exact copy of the real, large plane.
Enjoy watching it!

Welcome to "W&M Levsha" channel. Here you will see the manufacturing process of some interesting stuff, made of metal, wood/etc. Toys, souvenirs, complex and simple mechanisms, unusual gifts for boys and girls - all that things you will see in my videos. Of course, you can request your ideas and if possible I will realize it.
If you love DIY and If you are a creative person, this channel is for you!

"I haven't the patience for that" (adjusting the plane), says the man who worked days on a mini plane 😂
The irony!
I was thinking the same exact thing lol
after a while your patience runs thin.
I loved to watch ur wids while I sleep as watching such presise builds was extremely calming, but with the voice over it is probably not possible to fall asleep and exidently watch like 4 others in my sleep xD. But either way this has not changed how i feef About ur creations and the amazing talent of yours. I will keep on watching ur vids as I still do love em. Keep up the great work, love - squid
perhaps he could release two versions, one not narrated
Simply turn off your volume. You're gonna fall asleep to tools being used? 😂
@@theessence2440 turning the volume mean I won't hear the sound of the thing being made, it's not that I hate his voice or something, it's a lovely voice, I just would prefer only sounds of the things they were doing
@@Fidellio13 that's what I first thought of, but I'd hate for them to do more work just to satisfy my sleep xD
Next level shit sleeping watching movies
Beautifully executed ! I love watching all the techniques that you come up with in making something so small. Fascinating how you create screw holes with threads!
Folks, we just saw fine art happening. What a beautiful little gem he's created.
Making functioning tools at this size is on another plane. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.) I'm always impressed by this gentleman's skill and level of craftsmanship.
If I was half as talented as him, he'd still be twice as good as me.
It’s not fine art ,just basic model engineering . Any model engineer could make one .
I do love hearing you talk it through. This is an understanding multiplier for us novice machinists following along.
agreed
You like the computer talking?
6:15 belongs in some tiny modern art museum!
Really nice! Congratulations for your work and its quality, you are a master of the shop.. only (small) disappointment is that I expected to see a pencil being sharpened hahahah
Super cool! I feel like I would have been one of the cool kids back in the day if this is how I sharpened my pencils.
Great sharing 👍
Brilliant plane! You used a wee bit too much solder, clean up is much easier when minimum amount is used. I make mini planes like this without any power tools----- takes much longer! but very satisfying.
Your work is inspiring, thank you.
😘 Amazing
This should be available in Market
I will definitely purchase for my pencil 😀
$800 each....How many do you need ?
@@loucipher67 🤣🤣🤣
Your machine carve the mattle like butter, your knowledge, dedication and perfection makes me respect you, thank you for converting your efforts into our enjoyment.
I don't know whether to call this work of yours a jewel or what.
In any case, it is splendid!
I'm so happy I found this channel. :D
Also happy you started narrating with voice!
I need to now about that equipment you have. It's perfect for my living arrangements in an rv.
It was the only channel where we didn't have to listen to the narrative and I loved just watching and listening to the music, I'm pretty sad this changed
@@alexch4161 Let me blow your mind... You can mute the videos. WOW!
@@thekaduu if he really misses the music, the videos aren’t that long and can easily be filled in with a separate short playlist.
Absolutely beautiful!!!...
I'm lucky to own a couple of old Record wood planes (No 5, and No 4 Record Marples), and you're right, feeling the tool is a real pleasure. Keep up the AWESOME work!!!...
Your work is therapeutic 👌🏽👏🏽
Thanks for sharing it with us. God bless you 🙏🏽
I thought you’d have an online store to purchase it, was bummed that was not the case. Totally would buy. Excellent gift idea too!
You're a master at making small tool's and I give you my peace , love and much respect to you , your family ,friends and fan's alike peace.
It's super cute, but we already have planes for sharpening pencils... they're called pencil sharpeners!
Seriously though, this is fantastic!
Yeah, but do pencil sharpeners look as cool as a tiny plane built by miniature elves? Lol
@@danielmiller2886 Absolutely not! I would make a tiny fake pencil sharpener that's actually a little box to house this plane.
Now can we get a giant pencil sharpener made for planing wood in the workshop?
@@willieleroux5089 brilliant idea!
Genial, como siempre, gran abrazo Argentino!!!!
Muito bom, muito bom mesmo muito detalhista!!
Thanks for sharing this, I make small tools regularly, but for specific fixtures or purpose, and don't get to really make them pretty or in such fine detail. I've watched a bunch of your videos, first I think, your special cigarette lighter, with a slight bang, perhaps? Thanks again, always a pleasure to watch!
The solder only flows where the metal is clean and fluxed. If you dirty up the brass where you don't want solder, it won't go there. Yellow ochre or white out paint can be used
I liked this video

& loved this clamp
Precioso, es una joya, saludos desde Madrid
Outstanding!!! I dont have the mill or cnc, but that looks like a fun project to try! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Make one with hack saw and files .There isn’t anything difficult about it
Excelente trabalho!!!!
Uhau un opera d'arte in miniatura bravo 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
i've never heard a caliper called a "rod compass" before. interesting
And I've never seen one used as a holding clamp on a drill press before 🤤
@@mickk8519not a drill press, but a tap guide. They're great for really tiny taps.
I wonder if that's not a translation where in one language, the term is essentially two words put together, and in the other there is a completely different word that's not composed of two words. I hope that makes any sense what so ever 😂
You Sir, are a true artist and a craftsman. Hats off 👍👍🛠🛠👍👍
Thumbs up for your use of the compass as a clamp!
This guy is on another level 👏
That handle you are just showing off now.
Amazing work.
Excellent work with great humbleness
Appreciation with love from India
Stunningly beautiful!
Well, I'm all for promoting the "unplugged" wood or metal working movement but, if ever I needed an excuse for dashing out and spending $250 000 on machine tools, this is it.
Och, verra nice Laddie! Verra nice! 👍👍👍
The world needs more impractically tiny planes. I look forward to the day when every kid sharpens their pencils with miniature woodworking tools.
This isn't impractical. Planes this size, and smaller, are used in instrument making.
That is the most amazing plane build I've seen in quite a while!! You're quite a craftsmen 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best pencil sharpener ever!
Amazing work, you are truly a skilled workman. Thanks for sharing
Knowing the channel now. Great work!!! Greetings from Rio de Janeiro.
Brilliant and beautiful.
I get blind yust trying to see working on it. Exelent finish piece.
OH. WOW!!! What talented person you are! Perfection in miniature. Thank you for sharing.
CNC miller here, if you wanna tap blind holes fully to depth we use machine taps that we grind the lead off, only works in softer materials like brass or plastic
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙌🙏
The idea to use the needle was very impressive
Excited for the new workshop~
Wow super, as an architectural and indistrial model maker, I certainly praise your work. 👍
This is so awesome!!!
Now I am really tempted to try and make one myself. A very interesting challenge.
You are great! I love your work and your skills. Things get better with your narration. Thank you.
I would attempt to make one of those.. but then again the only thing I have is the blade..🤣🤣🤷🏾. I'm short on the skills and the tools.. 🤣🤣.. Great job Champ
Nice job, thanks for sharing!
Looking forward to seeing your shop
Beautiful piece.... Brilliant work
As a fan of the basic machining sounds, I'd honestly love if there were non-voiceover versions of the videos posted as well. That said, I do still like the voice over.
What a cool project.
wow, that is so cool, at the time of posting this, there is one thumb down- why? as an old school engineer , I see no reason to mark an artist down, because he/she is using modern tech- that is just petty and childish, you have created a piece of engineering art, and some are jealous of your skillset. - I wish I had have access to modern methods inthe 70's as an artificer apprentice !
Ive seen some small planes before, but this takes the biscuit. Awesome...
Really nifty project, wow! Looks like a LOT of fun ... even planing pencils, lol!
Amazing work and I love the use of CNC in your videos
Oh wow. It's absolutely adorable!
I'm so glad I found your channel today. I find this very relaxing. I used to watch click spring, I am happy there is something similar. to watch again.
Every video you upload is a real treat! Keep it up bud!
Wow!!! i love your Projects....Thanks//
Fantastica!!!!
sweet plainer. well done!
Another miniature masterpiece!
I could watch this all day.. beautiful
That was fascinating! Thank you for your spoken explanation.
great job wish I could get one great for carpenter pencil
thats one of the coolest things ever.
great fun project
Exciting as always
Lovely
That's a whole lot of skill.
Luthiers can use these for trimming bindings.
You did a couple things that my amateur metal working self didn't like.
That includes using the dial calipers as a vise
Excellent skills.
Very cute!
Ben Crowe would love one of those!
I would totally buy one of these off of you.
Keep up the good work, your work is amazing, creative and fun to watch!
I loved this , I'd like one this.
Everything is as it should be
Do you have a video going through all the stuff you use? I'd love to get.into micro machining.
Your videos are every time very nice and calming. Maybe you could uploade 2 versions of ypur videos. One with your commentary and one "accustic" version
Well, this was insanely cool.
technically all planes can sharpen pencils
Fantastic ! 😎👍🏻
Yes can't wait to get a set of those dice
been to 3 county fairs, aint seen nothing to beat it! This guy and joe pie channels. Oh, also: "my mechanics" channel.
Is that a text to speech narrator? I notice that it has slightly awkward inflections. My apologies if not, but if it is, that is a very impressive and smooth synthetic voice! Also where do you get these tiny mills and lathes that are so precise? Are they only available in your country?
Excelente ejecución, envíeme algunos de esos por favor. Soy de Venezuela
Fantastico....
Un genio 👌👌👌
Английский у тебя топ конечно))) не без акцента, но очень хороший)))))
Awsm❤️❤️
Very nice. I love miniaturized tools. They are so cool. I was wondering what make/model your CNC Mill is. Have a great day.
Very nice indeed, you have more patience than I for sure.. 👍. 👏
