In 2019, the legendary American rock band Blondie performed for the first time in Havana, Cuba as part of a cultural exchange through the Cuban Ministry of Culture. Directed by Rob Roth.
The short film will make its UK premiere at Sheffield Doc Fest on June 10 and its US premiere on June 14 at Tribeca Film Festival.

In this clip there is someone wearing a t-shirt that says CBGB on it. CBGB was a nightclub in New York and CBGB stands for Country, BlueGrass, Blues. The club was losing money in the late 70's because these forms of music were not popular in New York. In those days punk and new wave bands were not what nightclub owners were looking for so they wouldn't book them. The bands got desperate so they went to the owner of CBGB and asked the owner if he would book them for concerts. The owner figured that since he was going broke he might as well give some of these new wave and punk bands a shot. So everyone who was into these bands went to CBGB's to see them. The club became a hot spot because it was the only place in New York where these bands could play. The Ramones and many other New York punk bands played their first gigs at CBGB'S.
