Millions Like Us: Women Veterans share their stories, offer hope

Life was never the same for Zaneta Adams after a debilitating service-related injury. In her lowest moment, she considered giving up, but her children propelled her forward. Now an attorney and advocate for Veterans in Michigan, Adams opens up about her own struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and encourages fellow Veterans to reach out, ask for help, share the gift of hope, and give back. One way to do this, she found, is through VA’s Million Veteran Program.
