In my opinion it's good for a short stay or weekend getaway not an extended one. The stay wasn't that bad I just feel like they should renovate the whole hotel. Some things in the hotel room were highly outdated but it's in a great location to times square and has a great view from the hotel window Yes, they have a deposit fee of $50 I believe Usually I would recommend going during the cheaper months or when you can get a good deal online or through the hotel booking apps Hoped this helped
