Amphion is cheesers map. It is also a map where you can not wall-off main without exposing add-on. Screw it. I wonder why we can't have good maps anymore, just like "Lost and Found", "Simulacrum", "Eternal Empire", "Disco Bloodbath", "World of Sleepers", "Nightshade" and crapton of other good maps? If it was up to me I would set the map pool in the following way: 1-2) Standard macro map like the ones I listed. 3) Standard macro map with NORMAL pocket expansion, like e.g. "16 bit". Not all the bull we got recently with pocket base either being exposed in some way, or stripped of resources or etc. None of that. 4) Small macro map like "Submarine" or "Becket Industries". 5) 2v2 map. 6) "Throwback" map - that is some old map. Would be nice to play on "Orbital Shiplyard" or "Dusk Towers" once in a while, wouldn't it? 7) Weirdo map, but not an unplayable garbage like Dynasty or Amphion.
The maps don't feel fun or creative at all, they are just really badly made. I do feel bad for the map makers because they're trying to be more creative, but this is not it.

My favorite maps were maps like 2000 Atmospheres and Romanticide. Macro focused but with a beautiful tileset, and enough interesting pathways to keep things fun.
These maps were great. Bad ZvP winrate, but that's when the Voidray was a lot better. They should bring them back tbh. 2k is maybe my all time favorite.

i really dislike this map pool, by far the worst since i started playing in 2018, 3 of the 4 they kept were the maps i disliked in the last map pool and added a bunch more i dislike a lot, infact i don't like any of the new maps, they are gimicky maps with nothing but chokepoints and i feel all of them favour terran strongly, especially dynasty (in zvt), amphion, ghost river and crimson court, alongside oceanborn from the last pool, which honestly just defeats the purpose of the recent balance patches for pvt and makes the baneling nerf feel even worse in zvt, especially with the totally unnecessary bio buffs to upgrade cost and medivac healing. for me the state of balance is actually worse now than before the balance patches at the start of the last map pool season. i just insta leave post-youth, its just scuffed and i don't bother playing it in any matchup. the only map i like in this pool is site delta.

Post-Youth - 8/10 - Unfavorable for Protoss
dynasty is also ridiculous in z v t, it has a 80%+ winrate in tournaments for t vs z

I'd recommend vetoing Post-youth instead of leaving, save yourself some points.
