I recently went to Gurez Valley in Kashmir for a weekend with my friend Ritu. It's a must visit place. I took a direct Spicejet flight from Mumbai to Srinagar and then drove 140 kms from Srinagar to Gurez. It's about 5 hours drive. I stayed at Pine Tree Resort which was a nice and cosy accommodation. Gurez valley is accessible only in summers. So plan your trip now :)
You can do the following activities in Gurez Valley
1. Visit the last village of India near Pakistan border TULAIL
2. Enjoy camping near River Kishanganga.
3. Visit the army cafe LOG HUT CAFE for great food
4. Enjoy local tractor ride and see the village and farms
5. Visit Habba Khatoon peak for fresh water spring

Beautiful place.. Good to see a different place that's not commonly visited.
Many people here won't know that Gurez is not actually a part of Kashmir, it is a part of Gilgit Baltistan. People in Gurez are not etnic Kashmiris, they are Dards by ethnicity. And inhabitants of Gurez do not speak Kashmiri but Sheena.
10 percent Kashmiri, 90 percent Shina.

Good way to exploring Kashmir
Nice video & Nice place...i recently went there ....it is a mesmerizing place... though there is too much littering by travellers. polythene,wrappers are all around ,near river banks, camping sites etc. if possible please shed some light on this issue through your videos,so places like these remain clean..

Srinagar to Gurez is comfortably 6 hour journey by road...
@@pramilguha535 Its around 130kms....You will also find Razdan Pass...(pass not made of bitumen)....amazing things on the way

I went to Gurez Valley on June month with Scooty-bike Sheikpora Village is best beautiful village in Gurez also in India and the Bagatore ground in Gurez Bheem post highest Indian army post also Green color of Krishnaganga River dam site water.

Ye देख ke aur acha लगा that आप कोई fake aacent में नही बोलते..नही तो आधी मुंबई की लडकियों का अलग ही भोकाल रहता है।
सही से बोलना नहीं, फालतु का अकड़, एरोगेंस,एंड what not..
आप को देख कर लगा की सिंपल and छोटी चीज को खाने पीने में भी कितना आराम से आप करते हो। वही कोई दूसरी भौकाली मुंबई की लड़की होती तो न जाने सिंपल खाने को भी कैसा कैसा बोलकर(fake accent) दिखाती की बस आम आदमी का तो देखकर ही पेट भर जाता।
