9. 2 Peter 3:8 -14

Peter reminds his readers that the passing of time does not affect God's keeping His promises - be it a day or a thousand years - God's promise to send His Son, destroy the world, and judge mankind is certain. Our responsibility is to be ready at all times and not get caught unprepared.
