Does anyone remember the café in Settle in the West Riding? It was in Cheapside, facing the old Town Hall (now the Tourist Information Centre). The café was also a bakery. There were huge circular tables with dozens of chairs and, if my memory serves me, some other pieces of furniture. Every single piece was made by ‘Mouseman’. Sadly, it’s all gone and, I believe, is now a charity shop.
Supply and demand. It's a mouse you actually want in the house. I saw a gorgeous piece of furniture today. Side table, and the top was a single piece of tiger maple or other wood. No signs of wear or age really, but it was priced ...US$10. I only wish I'd had a use for it.
Thanks for a great video! Love the mouse man box... Saw you on an old Antiques Road Trip today, David, with Paul. Really enjoyed! Please get Paul to do a video with you. Miss you guys together...
I bought a little wooden mouse and glued it to my mantelpiece to make it look like a Mouseman. I have no intention of selling it. I just like pretending I've got a Mouseman fireplace 🐭

My hometown here in Manitoba, Canada has an entire church decked out in Mouseman pieces.
Blimey, that must have been a rather good contract!
That box would be cute without the mouse but with the mouse it's absolutely fantastic 😮
The Mouseman ashtray went out of fashion a couple of years ago. It’s made a comeback now and commands big money!
Perennial favourite at auction, the mouse is better than money in the bank

Thank you
Mouse man is back on the up again David as there was a period where you could buy his stuff for cheap in auction that was not the fake ones .
it has been said if there are no whiskers it means its fake , and the earliest pieces have front legs the later ones don't ...
