      95% of these mass shootings isn't coming law abiding gun registered crowd. it's coming from the ones that can't have a gun. drunk drivers kill more than guns. why not ban alcohol and cars. go back to riding a ducking horse. your punishing the people that don't engage in crime. find a solution that keeps low life thugs from having guns.

    So everyone and anyone , in any profession, that dies doing while at his job, should be declared a national hero that died in the line of duty.

      If their job is to run towards the gun fire in order to protect a complete stranger as they run away from the gun fire and the persons job is to lose their lives in order to save others then yes, yes they should be declared a hero dying in the line of duty. Dying while on the job at Kinkos for whatever reason clearly isn't the same.

    Ref to what Dallas Police Chief said @8:45 - 9:00 - when he says ' they are suspects until we eliminate", later, they don't have evidence so Police let him go.Fine. BUT was it necessary to splash the person's face across social media as 'get him he's a suspect and THAN saying 'he's innocent he's free'. This is crazy !! Dallas Police Twitter account does this and responsible people share it like its a game "here's a suspect" - next tweet "he's innocent". I mean common. IS this a game ? And this social media - Twitter and Facebook are having fun at other's expense. They are allowing this nonsense. Just few minutes ago - a reputed news 'post'ed - a wrong tweet of - deray, the Dallas protest leader and labelled him WRONGLY in their tweet as the - 'shooter and what not'...AND then, they corrected it sheepishly. This is absolutely nonsense and believe the scenario has lost its authenticity, authenticity about 'correct news reaching a individual'

      Oh boy, you found a new outrage angle. By any standard this is legitimate police policy. Many people are legitimate suspects when there aren't many facts figured out in a situation. It's not a crime against them to publish their picture in trying to get help from the public in locating them. It doesn't mean they have committed a crime or are guilty. Suspect - just look at the word and think about what it means. Going further, you want the police to be responsible for mistakes other people make in passing along information. I think there are more serious issues regarding this event than cleared suspects.

    • @kvisualtree
      @kvisualtree 8 лет назад

      I think you used a wrong term 'outrage angle' . World doesn't need more bushfires. If a wrong post or unauthenticated news circulates that's a start of bushfire in the wrong direction and that's a 'outrage'
      I don't think you got my point.
      Read again what I wrote, Police says 'they are suspects until we eliminate", later, they don't have evidence so Police let him go'. Which is fine.
      But is it necessary to splash a person's name on Twitter or Facebook or any other Social Media. Police may have the Power to do anything but Twitter or Facebook are NOT the channels to plaster somebody's face (till he/she is proven guilty) across playing a game of cops and robbers. There are responsible people and irresponsible on the social media and later are the reason why these 'outrages' happen.
      You talking about 'outrage'. One wrong click n post on Twitter and Facebook creates 'wrong' kind of uproar. Responsible newshouses are plastering wrong people labeling them criminals and then changing the words. SO, do these newshouses also have powers because some 'rules' to do this kind of 'unethical reporting' and THAT to on shit places like Twitter and Facebook which are like 24x7 virtual reality cameras capturing life n death shows and having fun at others expense.

      Everything the Chief mentioned as to why they could not use anything other than non-lethal. Suggest you put yourself in a similar situation or a family member, I find everyone has heroic ideas when it's not them in the situation...oh yeah you never have been...I can tell from the comments. Also, little less movies, because those situations are nothing like it. But I cannot convince you, only recommend you stand in FRONT of a gunmen sometime and see how you react, even with massive training of which I have none, only experiences, it's just not like a movie or your video game at home. Don't mean to sound belittling or make you feel bad, but some situations leave you with little options (live or die). Have you ever at least tried a ride-a-long, if you did not grow up in a neighborhood where you were robbed at gunpoint, saw people shot and stabbed and such. The movie/video game answers always take me back to the reality of the situation and it's UGLY.

      not really satisfied with the answer, I'm guessing there will be an investigation, enquiry, because this is such a big case and the first use of a lethal robot on American soil and on a American citizen, such mass casualties of innocent officers, I think we all need to think rational, before it escalates any further,

      I completely agree with this. I am firm believer that firearms and bullets should be banned completely and this will at least reduce the number of people that die from crime. For example in orlando, if the terrorist had no gun he would probably have killed at most 2 people. However, because he had gun he killed 50 people at one time.
