@@tedhildebrandt_BeL me too man. Btw I'm from the Philippines and we really need this kind of scholarship lectures. I will listen to all of these contents everyday brother. Thank you so much for the work that you do for the Lord. God bless brother.
I took lots of notes. A lot of stuff I've never heard of. Also would have appreciated the camera to stay longer on the powerpoint slides. Caused me to have to pause quite a bit. Thank you overall.
This is very helpful and detailed and i really appreciate it, but I'm not going to lie, your voice is busy lulling me into a false sense of security and i am at risk of falling asleep.
Dr. Keener is a leading expert on Acts. You might try two things: 1) take smaller bites, listen for 10-15 minutes at a time and set the speed on 1.25 or 1.5; 2) drink a little coffee or Monster :-) All the best.
@@tedhildebrandt_BeL thank you so much for the advice i will definitely implement it. I have to get through these lectures for college and they really are amazing and detailed and i am beyond grateful for his work but he has such a calm and even tone when he speaks that it makes me sleepy.😔
There are a couple ways IMHO [Craig would know much better]. 1) You can triangulate when he says stuff that contradicts what is known from other sources. 2) when he is reflecting a bias that favors the ones he's writing for (Romans, et al.) -- makes one suspicious; 3) when he seems to be covering his own tail or a gives a bias in that direction, and 4) when he records stuff that goes against what we know from that culture and time would have been really wrong.
Dr Keener is the most unbelievably detailed scholar i've ever heard of...... God bless you!!!!!
Praise the Lord brother
