Very beautiful design. Really old school and awesome. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon Jimbo. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On keep Making. God bless.
Long stretches like that you could oscillate from one end to the other so between times the welds and can cool down. That'll help with warping as well. As always great job and I look forward to seeing your next project 👍
Hello from Romania, right from Dracula's Transylvania :) . Can I give you a piece of advice if you don't mind? To prevent the large metal distortion due to the high welding temperature, you could try shorter welds, like 1/4 inch instead of 1 inch. It's guaranteed to hold! I've been following you for a long time, I've seen all your videos, and I always admire the tools in your workshop, especially the welding machines and the welding table! I also have a metalworking workshop in Romania, just as small as yours, from which I earn my living; it's my business! Good luck with everything!
Good looking job! I just built a handrail with similar hardware. I tacked a temporary piece across the bottom of the posts and it saved me a lot of trouble
Looks awesome, I have also needed to beef thins up a bit on some projects to keep warping at bay and touch wood it's always worked out fine... looks really nice
This is timely for me, I'm currently planning a similar handrail for an exterior stair, I'm using a 1-3/4" molded cap rail with a 1" x 1/2" bar channel underneath to give it girth and with lamb tongue ends... I appreciate your videos! P.S. KingMetal is great for the hard-to-find stuff.
We need more install videos
Happy to see more recent videos.

Your angle thingy is called a sliding T bevel Jimbo!
Jumbos not a bimbo
Usually we put a metal channel in the bottom of the hand rail to keep it from bending
What were the problems you had when fitting on-site? Angles? Heights?
❤❤❤. MAKE A HAND GAUGE TO ANGLE ⁉️
It's called a sliding T bevel Jimbo.
G'day, your protractor thing are called sliding bevels in the boatbuilding world.
What dimensions are your welding table?
Witaj. Dlaczego nie czyścisz na zewnątrz? Taki PIĘKNY WARSZTAT masz potem zapylony z tej rdzy. Im sending greetings from POLAND.
They have digital protractors right in the level nowadays
Hey Jim i need an exterior door with wood. can you give me a quote
Kills me to see Jimbo grinding those rusty handrails without a 3M mask on. Inhaling those particles is terrible for the lungs.
There’s a chemical spray you can makeup your self that will remove all the rust and make the metal rust proof at the same time, look in to it.
You have a welder and a mill you could always do what jason did. Design your own to fight your needs
