I have the Level RR 2023. It's extremely insane, but especially for people who don't mind the weight and who really challenge the bike and ride at high speeds. But of course you can also ride tours and easy trails with it. But if you don't plan on riding hard enduro and downhill routes or going to the bike park anyway, then I would recommend the Crafty because it's a little lighter, but still very similar to the level. It has a 0.5° steeper head angle and a 0.5° flatter seat angle and just 20mm less suspension travel and an air shock, but is otherwise the same as the level. But theoretically you can do anything with both. The Crafty has advantages at lower speeds and slightly less hard terrain thanks to the lower weight and the 0.5° steeper head angle and also has a slight advantage when touring due to the 0.5° flatter seat angle, which means there is a little less load on the hands on longer tours. The Level has advantages at high speeds and downhill routes, but it is a little less agile on easier trails. You could also add a coil damper and 170mm suspension forks to the Crafty to make the head angle a little flatter and make it more suitable for downhill riding. With the Level you could also install an air shock, a 27.5" rear wheel and a 170mm Fox 36 to make it lighter and more agile. The bottom bracket on the Level is very high anyway, so it wouldn't be incredibly deep afterwards. You could also use 155/160mm cranks and use lighter components for the cassette or handlebars. So you could tune in both directions on both bikes.
why no mindsytem anymore ?
Anything on the level XR?
