Totally agree with what you and Dave said at Yiya's about the difference from video or picture to actually being there! That is universal with all of Costa Rica for sure! The number of things that have happened to me in the last 2 years that has delayed my retirement and so many other crazy unforeseen circumstances, it will take a few glasses of wine to tell you about, but my latest departure for CR is now the end of March 2022. So not to long to go now. 😊 By the way, it’s -4c here tonight in the Lower Mainland….🥶

We're living in Central Valley, moving to Guanacaste for the first time around Tamarindo. How do you like the heat? Is it too much or do you love it? We're Canadian.
We love the heat, we've been here 4.5 years and are definitely climatized
Will take the heat over the cold/rain/fog ANY day! There's always ways to find a breeze and/or cool off!

Love it!! How is the Marbella area for living? Up and coming? We likely couldn’t afford an already developed area.
Haven't been, but we just got back from the Junquillal and Playa negra area which I would think is similar. It's very rural and not a lot to do, we were bored after 2 days. A person would need to have a business just to have something to do and not go crazy. Even 2 business owners a spoke with in Playa negra said the same.
