These video are alway awesome. I away find an idea that I have never thought of that I could use on my hiker, we just bought used. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks Matt and Wendy.
The cigarette lighter heater is probably all you need in one of these. Forget the propane, kerosene, or whatever heaters, it’s a tiny space! Just get something that will warm it up while you get dressed in the morning, or uses little energy in the evening before you go to sleep .
We use a little 300 w electric heater to warm the space up before bed and then again in the morning. Doesn't take much heat for the small space.
We use a 12v heated throw and it's plenty down to 20F.
Love watching what people do to their set ups. Cheers.
Spots are filling up!! I just booked spot 249 in the Lake View campground. Hoping to have my Hiker trailer behind the VW Van this year!! Thanks for putting this on and looking forward to it!
This was the video I was waiting for. I appreciate it.
1:17 - Who would want to lug that monster AC unit around with them? I’m waiting for someone to design a REAL mini AC unit for these trailers. A mini heater works just fine, why not AC ?
I love these videos! We put in our order (pick up in Jan) and these videos have helped us with ideas so we can be ready in time for HTC-E6!
Great to hear! Let us know what lot you are on for HTCE6 if/when you make reservations :-)
HI MATT & WENDY 👋
A LOT OF COOL 😎 IDEAS & THINGS TO THINK ABOUT ❤ YOU'LL BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏
One thing I can't find out is how much weight the hitch on back bumper can tow?
Thank you for this! I love these to learn what others have done.
Love these videos. Much enjoyed being there. Ours should be in by Christmas. Look forward to E6.
Hey Matt and Wendy. I’m new to your channel and I’m loving it. Could you tell me were the a/c mod vents can be purchased? Thanks Tim C.
Email us at mwdadventures@gmail.com and we can give you more information on the vent covers. Our son is making these to help pay for college :-)
Like the idea of the magnetic screen-doors on the last build. Would love some info about it
Same here
Same. That’s a good conversation to be had.
Me too!
Same! I’ve been looking at a way to keep bugs out yet have the door open.
@justinwilliams8032 @MrA1582000, @JulioValladares6807 @kristinealbrecht2071 @campingman2156 Per Gary, trailer owner: I started with patio screens they were 45 bucks apiece. What you do is take the inside frame out there are four screws square head, put the frame down on top of the screen, and cut around it making sure you are maintaining the top integrity cut a little bit bigger, so when you put the frame over the screen on the inside of the camper and have a little play.
Is there a link for the Park Addict fella in here somewhere? We just ordered our Hiker and would like some work done.
If you email us at mwdadventures@gmail.com, I can send your info to him and he can reach out to you.
@@MWDAdventures sent sir thank you
👍👍👍👍👍😄, I have probably watch most of your videos 10-15 times a piece.
I learned a lot. Thank you.
In the last trailer showed, the magnetic screen. Was that custom made or did he buy it from somewhere? I have been looking to do something very similar.
We saw a few different versions of this at the campout. Most of them bought the screen with the magnets already connected and then cut it down to fit their space.
@@MWDAdventures How did they attach them?
