The Shelton hotel at Seattle, WA, US overbooked tourists and we were sent to another hotel...and it was full and another...no available...and finally...got one. We had to drive around in the rain... I am glad to know you got a ticket for a boat ride. Wow, such a stunning landscape and also the pristine water right behind you...4:11and you are in it...6:32 Loe this gate...so rustic...5:25 Wowowow...is this island to be able to hike up to the summit???...8:27 What? Hello, guys !! I just got back from Copenhagen ... finally a trip, finally a flight after almost three years! Magical! Oh, my friends! I know very well that transport is not the strong point of my country, especially when you are not in the city. But let's say you weren't lucky at all. Usually things are better ... There was absolutely no organization in this place and despite the large influx of tourists, Sardinia is a bit flawed in this. But he gets forgiven thanks to the WONDER of his land and his sea, isn't it? Thanks for this very nice and informative video. You have introduced me to things I did not know! Guys, have a great week. Absolutely beautiful. Loved this, love you and obviously you still hold the main accolade of our favourite RUclipsrs. Dont see that going anywhere, anytime soon! Public transport though? Your really not selling it. For twenty years now we’ve done car hire across the Americas and Europe. Whilst you can’t indulge in a cheeky early beverage you can just relax into knowing where you go to get back to where you want to be in a timely fashion! We love the idea of cruising public transport and partaking in alcohol from dawn till dusk but boy oh boy, after PP2 ar£e police and long waits, thats not for us. Id sooner stay sober till touch down on that lovely roof terrace you have. €30 a day combats any of the nonsense we have seen you jumping through! Probably thanks to you, we indulged in a day of public transport exploring yesterday. Drove like maniacs for an hour to get our bus link, almost died several times. Got there late by five super stressful minutes but not nearly as late as the unapologetic bus that arrived a contented 45 minutes later. A super sunburned us went on to start our hike, ranting all the way about how pants public transport is. Apparently Sardinia and Yorkshire are even, stevens on this regard! Superb video and instalment though and great Dad joke Wills ♥️ 🍻
Thanks guys, sorry you had a bad transport experience! To be fair, bar trains, we don’t use it in this country! Too expensive!! To be honest, we enjoy the journey and if something goes wrong then it’s all part of the experience! We car hire sometimes, but neither of us likes driving that much, we’re more ‘look out the window’ kind of people!! We still had a brilliant day Sardinian public transport aside! Even the Sardinians acknowledge how crap it is!! Such a shame as it’s a beautiful place (and I believe car hire is extortionate!!). Cheers guys and have a brilliant week 🍻
Shame about the local transport being rubbish, but glad all turned out well in the end. I loved the quaint cemetery with the pebble designs. What a beautiful island, with some fabulous beaches and lovely views. Ooh, that dip in the sea looked wonderful. Oh no, just watching towards the end of the video - and the bus experience has just got much worse! I'll remember to arrange alternative transport if I'm lucky enough to visit Sardinia in the future. That was not an easy day with the public transport but as you found those days can still be a lot of fun. The island was well worth a visit and its story was so interesting. Don`t be too hard on Wills for laughing at your attempts to get the names out, by that time we were all laughing! Bit rude I know. That wonderful sea looked really inviting. Great watch once more. Sorry Wills missed out on the Canaries.

Beautiful island with some interesting history, before Italy was unified it had lots of different small kingdoms, some smaller than others it seemed! Ah yes, Italian buses, this summer it was particularly bad as the covid numbers went up. I discovered that if a driver was off sick, often they weren't replaced, so his/her bus didn't go out. Discovered this the hard way one morning at the local bus stop when 2 other people waiting were grumbling about the lack of a bus. So if buses are due every 20minutes, but one doesn't have a driver then its cancelled and you're waiting 40min. (Even worse if the bus is once and hour, you're waiting 2 hours!!) I was impressed that Italians did stick to the rule of wearing a P2 mask on public transport, lots of passive aggressive commentary if someone on the bus wasn't wearing it properly! (As in the mask covered their mouth but not their nose.)
Thanks so much for watching. We’ve taken the buses every time we’ve been there and they’ve always been a bit hit and miss, but those Arst buses this year were another level!! To be fair the Italians didn’t bat an eyelid at mask wearing and everyone was very compliant- it was the tourists that had to be reminded! We’ve taken the train in Sardinia too - they’re even worse! You guys had a heck of a time trying to get to Tavolara Island. The water is just gorgeous. Dyson is cute. Oh, I just noticed your t-shirt. Cute. The history of Tavolara Island is so cool; even though his name is way too hard to say. 😂😂. Great spot to enjoy a sandwich and some beers. Lovely day but terrible transportation.

Absolutely beautiful. Loved this, love you and obviously you still hold the main accolade of our favourite RUclipsrs. Dont see that going anywhere, anytime soon! Public transport though? Your really not selling it. For twenty years now we’ve done car hire across the Americas and Europe. Whilst you can’t indulge in a cheeky early beverage you can just relax into knowing where you go to get back to where you want to be in a timely fashion! We love the idea of cruising public transport and partaking in alcohol from dawn till dusk but boy oh boy, after PP2 ar£e police and long waits, thats not for us. Id sooner stay sober till touch down on that lovely roof terrace you have. €30 a day combats any of the nonsense we have seen you jumping through! Probably thanks to you, we indulged in a day of public transport exploring yesterday. Drove like maniacs for an hour to get our bus link, almost died several times. Got there late by five super stressful minutes but not nearly as late as the unapologetic bus that arrived a contented 45 minutes later. A super sunburned us went on to start our hike, ranting all the way about how pants public transport is. Apparently Sardinia and Yorkshire are even, stevens on this regard! Superb video and instalment though and great Dad joke Wills ♥️ 🍻
Thanks guys, sorry you had a bad transport experience! To be fair, bar trains, we don’t use it in this country! Too expensive!! To be honest, we enjoy the journey and if something goes wrong then it’s all part of the experience! We car hire sometimes, but neither of us likes driving that much, we’re more ‘look out the window’ kind of people!! We still had a brilliant day Sardinian public transport aside! Even the Sardinians acknowledge how crap it is!! Such a shame as it’s a beautiful place (and I believe car hire is extortionate!!). Cheers guys and have a brilliant week 🍻

Shame about the local transport being rubbish, but glad all turned out well in the end. I loved the quaint cemetery with the pebble designs. What a beautiful island, with some fabulous beaches and lovely views. Ooh, that dip in the sea looked wonderful. Oh no, just watching towards the end of the video - and the bus experience has just got much worse! I'll remember to arrange alternative transport if I'm lucky enough to visit Sardinia in the future. That was not an easy day with the public transport but as you found those days can still be a lot of fun. The island was well worth a visit and its story was so interesting. Don`t be too hard on Wills for laughing at your attempts to get the names out, by that time we were all laughing! Bit rude I know. That wonderful sea looked really inviting. Great watch once more. Sorry Wills missed out on the Canaries.

Beautiful island with some interesting history, before Italy was unified it had lots of different small kingdoms, some smaller than others it seemed! Ah yes, Italian buses, this summer it was particularly bad as the covid numbers went up. I discovered that if a driver was off sick, often they weren't replaced, so his/her bus didn't go out. Discovered this the hard way one morning at the local bus stop when 2 other people waiting were grumbling about the lack of a bus. So if buses are due every 20minutes, but one doesn't have a driver then its cancelled and you're waiting 40min. (Even worse if the bus is once and hour, you're waiting 2 hours!!) I was impressed that Italians did stick to the rule of wearing a P2 mask on public transport, lots of passive aggressive commentary if someone on the bus wasn't wearing it properly! (As in the mask covered their mouth but not their nose.)
Thanks so much for watching. We’ve taken the buses every time we’ve been there and they’ve always been a bit hit and miss, but those Arst buses this year were another level!! To be fair the Italians didn’t bat an eyelid at mask wearing and everyone was very compliant- it was the tourists that had to be reminded! We’ve taken the train in Sardinia too - they’re even worse!
