I have been reverse engineering the protocol between CoolLED1248 and the BT LED sign. I can make the sign dim and bright. I can change the mode from static, to picture, to laser, to snowflake. However, I can't figure out how to change the text and graphics. Can you help me understand the protocol for loading text and graphics into the LED sign? I want to build a REST API that can take in text and then display it on the sign.

@@JohnForTheWinI have the same Idea that if we can run a python code we can use this led to communicate with the behind car by using voice assistant. I didn't buy this product yet but planinng to buy do you have any reference project so we can have brainstorm some idea.
Any chance someone knows how to make the font bold? The video doesn't cover that feature and the information in app says you can make the font bold. I can't find that setting or feature for the life of me.
I'm considering one of these and expecting to at the very least have to avoid red and blue text (I'd stick to just green), all animation (no scrolling etc.), and keep the brightness down at night.

There is text graffiti and animation available tap them and different things should come up

@@alejandrogrillo2641 Unfortunately I didn't. I captured the bytes sent to the display, but it's far too complicated for me to reverse engineer.

Should let us edit the dynamic patterns or have user upload custom dynamic patterns or animations to share!

I believe it is automatically bold and it is available in the text editor

You can turn the brightness down and it shouldn't be a problem
