Being a fan of this manhwa for so long and watching the first episode made laugh and a bit proud that this got an anime adaptation
they murdered the animation now it looks like that cheap shonen animation that u will barely remember u even watched them after couple of yerars, even the vfx and magic casting looks like some kind of reuse vfx from some other anime or project :( its so bad like its watching anime back in 2014/2015....
Never came in my mind that this manhwa will get an adaptation and I am really happy for this pleasant surprise ❤

@@mortenandersen5226Ig that's why it's this one that got adapted. Cuz I was thinking about TBATE, But that's on the level of SL so they wouldn't agree for such an animation. But i'd say it's ok overall

The action parts are going to suck, I'm afraid. But at least they did justice with the funny scenes and voice actor choices. I dig it quite a lot.

Just finish reading the manhwa (it took me 2 days), it is amazing, so well done, the characters are intresting, no one is broken af so every battle is intresting, no stupid unnecesarry echi to cover for bad writting, no power of love and frienship but hard work and training, no useless characters, every one is useful in their own way, I didn't expect it to be so good.
I really don't get how y'all finish like 300 chapters in 2-3 days

@@theguyyouhate He is OP fundamentally but is being held back, think of Deku in the first season -- that's literally him till now. Which is really cool, OP characters with no repercussions at all is just plain boring.

This is so unexpected, defently one of my favourite manhwas, great characters and world bulding. It starts slow but consistently gets better and better till very end, so very hyped about adoptation.
It really does kick off later on and I'm hype for it as well as well!

@@dell10781 Tbh for me it was like I tried to read it several times but I just did not like where the story was going... dropped like 4 times
sad it's got so rushed at the middle of the story, hope they are not following the novel. especially after the 8 mage event, a lot of thing un-explained and the MC just keep getting random power up, worse not only the mc but also the other.. that make the early world building is kinda pointless. well at least it finished.. albeit it's so rushed.
God of high-school, tower of god, Solo leveling, the boxer and now this, I hope more manhwa get an anime adaptation and hopefully it sticks to the source material 😂😂

@@Davincy.D21 It is unfortunately. To be honest with you I no longer have high expectations for animation, especially when it's something coming from a Manhua. I'll just watch it to put a voice to the characters, and try to enjoy it as much as I can.

this is so far the anime im most looking forward to because sometimes i feel that the series is somewhat underrated especially with the characters because Desir makes faces that only villains usually make

This is going to be an amazing anime. Haven't read the manhwa lately but this is an absolutely amazing read. The MC is OP but only because he has a lot of knowledge. Otherwise, he would just be somewhat average. The fights are won using tactics rather than simple curb stomp fights.
Definitely recommended.

I read the online novel years ago and really enjoyed it but never expected it to be picked up for animation! I hope they’ll remain faithful to the source. October has quite a number of exciting releases pending, so looking forward to it!
I agree with you, hopefully they will remain faithful to the novel and don't follow the manhwa changes that the artist did (the art wasn't even that great and he had the audacity to changes things)

It has truly begun. The era of the anime manhwa/webtoon adaption! I'm also really excited about this one! But what I really want to see is some Murim manhwa adaptions! "Legend of The Northern Blade" or "Nano Machine" would be my first picks on that front.

@athoni1293 It might be a bit before we get them, though. This adaptation and Solo Leveling make sense not just because they're popular, but because they don't stray too far away from the magic and monsters setting that normal anime watchers are already familiar with. But Murim as a setting is not so easy to explain and people aren't as familiar with it and it's concepts like Qi, sects, cultivation, and so on. Not to mention that even now, we don't get a lot of anime that focus on martial arts. I really hope that we get to see some Murim anime and just more martial arts anime in general.
