I was there in 1991 and there was only one place to stay, the Mainski Inn. Just went back and to be honest you may as well stay in Bali. The joints cooked.
Thank you! We've visited all 3 Gilis, Lombok, Amed, Lovina, Ubud, Uluwatu and Nusa Dua. All recorded and waiting to be edited/published. We skipped Komodo as its between 12-15 juta so too much for 2 hours of watching dragons in the park. Sorry. Also the rumours of the dragons being drugged are not promising. We are exploring Jakarta now and in the future plan on doing a multi-day trek through the jungle to see Orangutans in the wild. Then perhaps a Phinisi trip in Aceh!
Thank you very much. :) it's been an amazing 5 months. We are heading back to Europe to sit down and edit nearly 20 videos we recorded during our stay in the amazing Indonesia.
great video guys i’ve just got back from Lembongan you guys did some things i didn’t however i will say you guys did miss a hell of a lot of the better parts of the island
Agreed! When it was filmed, there was a huge rainstorm overnight and parts of the island (and Ceningan) were inaccessible as some roads even got destroyed along with hotels. That's why we cut that trip short and even mentioned this in the video. I'd love to go back and redo, especially now that we're out of the covid situation and lots more businesses are openned up 🙏
Thanks Andi! The videos are delayed by a few weeks as we were touring intensely and recording. Gilis were amazing. We also went to Amed and Lovina, Lombok and spent a few weeks in Uluwatu. There are 14 videos waiting to be edited so expect the next one in approx 2 weeks.
If you like beaches you should go to Labuan Bajo..The beaches in Komodo National Park is amazing. Actually there are many beautiful beaches in eastern part of Indonesia than in Bali. Labuan Bajo (KNP), Raaj Ampat, Banda Neira, Kei Island, Lombok, Manado etc has the best beaches and marine life in Indonesia. The problem is too far, remote and expensive to travel, even for us Indonesian.
Greetings from Viet Nam. I knew your channel after watching "Dương Địa Lý" video. BTW, nice video you had and keep improving it. Hope you will had more interesting video about traveling.
Thank you. We will continue improving! More videos coming soon. Working on a big one now and need a few more days. Can't wait to visit Viet Nam in September!
As it was at the end of the pandemic some things were still shut but now I'd imagine it's all in full swing. Yes you could easily swim if the water was calm.
Yes. We did however need to be considerate of the fact of being there at the end of the closures so the restaurant was closed (also no breakfast) and services were minimal. Also the beachside area was affected by heavy storms but they've been working on fixing those. The swimming pool albeit cozy, was nice and the view of Bali was amazing.
@@SuperRabbit36 Don't worry about the weather forecast too much :) In rainy season it rains for a couple of hours and moments later it's dry from the heat :) UK!
Too expensive for what it is. Sorry. 12-15 juta to eventually spend 2 hours on the island with drugged lizards and all hotels in the area with horrible reviews (and bed bugs). No. This needs to be fixed.

Nice story - heading there on Thursday. My laptop crapped out on the way back to Bali and it should be back in my hands tomorrow. Like you we have about 8 videos on the laptop that have to be uploaded and about 6 that have to be edited. We’re also 2 weeks ahead of releases. Gonna give you the subscribe to help you get to the magic 1k 😃
Thanks guys :) oh we are months behind on editing :) still fighting to try to find the balance between exploring/living the life of travel and slumping away for days editing a video :) Bali compendium coming out soon - it'll be 50 minutes long and the longest project we've done. Can't wait to get it out and move to regular vlogs :) Thanks for the sub and congrats on your 1k not long ago! :)
@Mikeandeve: He’s asking you as his Uncle to make a subtitle availability for him so he can understand what you’re saying. Some people learn English like these - watching videos these days
@@MikeAndFriends Yes true, learning a language is very hard takes dedication, time and passion for sure. But, I believe YT has a way to put subtitle, not sure how though - not quite techie. It’s your choice at end of the day though. I still can’t speak Balinese as I believe they have their own dialect & my formal Indonesian are quite rusty too.
That Nicks Husky haha…stray dog.. 🤦♂️…your not going to find a stray husky in Bali and you will find all dogs on Lembongan and Ceningan do have owners they just roam the islands. You guys should return there when your not so Green to Bali and notice the difference. Also not really any crime on the island as it run by the local Mafia their is no Police on the island.
Yes we are very green! This is our first time in Asia. We're learning a lot and are keeping a very open mind (which is frequently blown) to everything. We always welcome comments like yours. Thanks for taking the time to share :) Luckily I didn't say it was a stray dog, only wondered if it is one or not. 🤠🙏
Nusa lembongan use to be Amazing. Two days a week you could catch an outrigger ferry over to the island. It was jungle with only a couple of huts run by locals. Large seaweed farm's out front. No real roads or transportation. Would stay for months and surf out front. That was 30+ years ago. The island is now covered in hotels. The boardwalk you guys sat at in front of playgrounds has hotels that pump sewage out front. The water can stink. The whole island is covered in plastic. I hope with the lack of tourists they have been trying to clean the island but I doubt it. Its changed so much over the years. Beware the money machines on the island. They use skimmers to access people's accounts and will clean your bank accounts out.
Thanks for all the valid points. I hear nowadays one must go further ease past Nusa Tenggara to find what Lembongan used to be. Sugaiwatch is a local org that is doing a lot of cleanups and uses great equipment to clean tens of tonnes of trash. Sadly the sea is full of it :( We use revolut for payments to protect from skimming. The app has notifications every time money is spent on the card so could react in seconds.
It is now an amazing island with more more tourist come and amaze with their experience in there What you said about sucking money in bank account What is that? I wish my Indonesian people read what you write Negative comment you said
