It wouldn't do it any harm to have a little on it. I would just say be careful not to over do it if you wanted to take them out again as the screws can be fairly "soft" I have never used any on a 243 and have not had any problems. Dan
How do you install the Scopes with ring to make sure the reticle is upright? Can you set the Mount with an symmetrical distance to the baseplate? Thanks!
Hello Tobias, This is more a guide on the actual mounts rather than a how to mount a scope. Personally I use the tier one precision scope level wedges. They are good. I will try and make some time to do some a video on how I mount a scope. Take a look for the wedges they work well for me. Dan

Would you put Locktite 243 on the screws when mounting a scope with the Blaser saddle mount?
