It's a shame we barely ever see choreography like this in the franchise anymore. There's just something so raw and exciting about Kuuga's fights that later Heisei stuff can barely match, especially when they go overboard with the CGI. The bikes themselves have become so downplayed in the shows thesedays.
I, too, miss the more visceral fights & practical effects. Tokusatsu is trying too hard to be Hollywood with the CG. Put the “Rider” back in Kamen Rider. The bikes make the character
It's because of Japan putting laws in place that restrict the use of modded vehicles on public roads and renting out private property or using CGI is really expensive. So blame Japan for that, not Toei

Blade had around 2 maybe 3 ride fights, Kiva had one as well, Ex-Aid had one as well, and Build had a chase the first episode, and like this battle here on Kuuga they were one time things so don't be bitching about how this one makes Kuuga more special than the rest.

I know it's a lot of people lament that we don't get stunts like this anymore, and there's copious blame on the Japanese bike laws for it, but you have to consider that even before those laws came into effect (during Gaim's run, iirc), bike stunts were a dwindling craft, and it's pretty obvious why. It's just too much of a safety hazard, performing bike stunts on uneven terrain in notoriously low visibility helmets. It feels raw and dangerous, because for the performers, it almost certainly WAS. We live in a timeline where we got to see bikes phased out of Rider, rather than put to an abrupt stop because of a fatal filming accident, and I feel that's miraculous in it of itself.

To be honest,I agree with others. I hope Neo Heisei Kamen Riders had these kind of scenes. Not just bike riding,but bike battling. This here was beautiful,like in a coliseum. I think Gaim had something similar,but after that nothing. Although they rode other things,but I want more bike stuff!
According to Producer Shirakura, the reason why Riders lately use their bike as a mere transportation rather than actually made them a fighting weapons is because new city policies across Japan's cities made directors require approvals from the people from the neighborhood where they going to shoot the episodes, and if even one person disallow it, then the shoots must be cancelled or moved to other places.... That's why it's incredibly easy to notice that they always reusing same places to do any action scenes in later series, because their zones to shoot any scenes are getting smaller and smaller.... Also I'm pretty sure that Takaiwa Seiji (the infamous main Riders' suit actor) is not that athletic to do any bike stunts, like Tominaga Kenji at his prime age did in here (although tbh I'm not sure if Tominaga himself did it or a stunt actor did it instead)....
This was the shit that won us back and defined what a Rider really is. Not the modern day kiddy shit that relies on having outlandish belts and actually never ride ANYTHING.

この後、CG主体ではなく実際にスタントで行っているこの手のアクションは鎧武のバロン(劇場版、外伝)までしばらく無かったですね。
CGとかではファイズの高性能機能のビークルバトルとかも面白かったですけど。
