It's not just because your work ethic is absolutely heroic compared to most painters. Or the way you plan out your amazing works as fully realized paintings instead of wasting years just doing "practice portraits" or "practice paintings" (which is what I've spent a lot of years doing, but I'm trying to change that this year). On top of that you are absolutely charming and hilarious and are such a wonderful online personality. I hope you'll be able to continue while in college and beyond. I have no doubt you will have so much to show and teach us, even older folks like me. 😊

I have a question. Does art style matter in AP drawing? I have a more anime-influenced style and realism isn't my strong suit. I like to focus more on character illustration and less realism, but I'm afraid that it will lower my score if I use a more "anime" art style. I asked my art teacher what exactly they are looking for in a portfolio and he answered "They are looking for 'you'." which is such a vague answer lmao-

i don’t think you can take 2D twice, so I took Drawing instead but it’s basically the same thing!
