Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas’ Kids Will Stay In NYC Amid Heated Divorce

- Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have agreed to keep their kids in New York City as their heated divorce battle continues. On Monday, court documents filed on behalf of the couple stated in part, "The parties have agreed to the entry of the attached proposed Interim Consent Order, without prejudice to either party’s claims and defenses, prohibiting the removal of the parties’ children from the jurisdictions of the United States District Courts for the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York pending further order of this Court." The update comes just days after the "Game of Thrones" star sued the Jonas Brothers musician to return their children to her home country of England from New York in federal court documents obtained by Access Hollywood. The papers claim that "wrongful retention" of their two daughters began on or about Sept. 20, one day before the actress filed her petition. The docs note that both girls are dual citizens of the U.K. and the U.S. In a statement to Access Hollywood on Sept. 21, Joe denied the claims made in Sophie's suit, alleging that she was indeed aware he intended to file for divorce and claiming that the Florida court order prevents either of them from relocating the children at this time.

Something people need to be mindful of when marrying someone from a different country. Very sad for the children.
Definitely. Pretty much based on an interview from last year Sophie said she love the US and love staying here but she wants to move back to the UK and have her kids live there but it will take her husband some convincing. So I guess they never actually planned on it before having kids or even getting married.
Plus sounds like they kind of got married too soon on a whim.

@@aoifekennedy9004 they got engaged in 2017 and in 2019 apparently they broke up shortly before and got back together to got married in Vegas. So pretty quick after trouble in paradise. Also Joe forgot to let his parents know he got married. Another reason they got a second official ceremony in Paris.

This is so heartbreaking to see joe and Sophie going through their this it’s so sad and depressing enough that their going through this divorce and now child custody weather or not who should take their own kids like seriously this is so messed up
This relationship went south and fast. Instead of having two living souls for children why don't you spend 4 years together first and then see if you want to have children. I dated a redheaded psycho and thank god I'm out of that relationship. She was the only girl I ever dated that was mean/toxic. We dated for a year and 4 months. And thank God we had no kids. Because she was crazy. You need to spend time together before you decide to have kids.
No offence but you can’t see your future 4 years ago plus most couples have kids and their marriage is still ok sure my Mum and Dad got married in March 1999 and my Mum had my brother in June 2000 and then me in November 2003 and they still seem to be doing fine so no offence but NO ONE can see their own future plus they can have kids if they want to have kids. Now I do feel sorry for their kids because their so young but still no one can tell their own future it’s not like they could see they were going to divorce four years ago
This is Sad, so early and already divorced and dealing with child custody. She probably ended up marrying the worst Jonas.
6:45 The name is Delphine. I've recently seen comments from different people, who have worked at places where they were and on their stuff, the name Delphine was on (also Willas full name "Willa Ruby"). There was also a comment: "there was a reel on insta that showed their tourbus and there was a bin labeled "Sophie, Willa & Delphine"". Guess the name is becoming more and more known among fans. And someone from Danielles family accidentally revealed the name in a video on facebook (but it's gone).
Even still do you honestly think it’s your place or business to say their child’s name so publicly like that ? She’s not your child so it shouldn’t be your place
@@aoifekennedy9004 🙄 The Media also published Willas name without asking them and other people spread Delphine as well. At the end, it's just a comment. I'm not the media who spread it everywhere. And if they don't want the world to know, then they shouldn't put their names on stuff.
@@Dany0926 sorry I didn’t know no need for the eye roll how was I meant to know ? I don’t follow them every day. Plus I thought they wanted Willa’s name published also one time in either 2021 or 2022 Joe was interviewed by Zoom and the interviewer asked about Willa and Joe didn’t seem to mind actually he was smiling so I thought it was them who decided to publish Willa’s name. Did I say you were ? No. I’m pretty sure when it comes to a divorce they have to put their children’s names down to get custody so I’m pretty sure they have no choice. Also hope you don’t mind me asking but how do you know the second child’s name ? As one I read a news article it said W and D now I knew W meant Willa but I didn’t know what D meant so how did you know ? Just wondering. Honestly though I honestly didn’t know and that’s why I said no need for the eye roll but ahh well. Plus when it comes to a divorce I know their famous people and all that but their still human and I just think stuff like divorce and relationships etc should remain private especially if that’s how they wanted it and I’m not just talking about Joe and Sophie I’m talking about couples getting a divorce in general

No, They both didn't wanted the name out, or at least not publicly, maybe they gave it to the press but they never revealed the name by themselves, they never said their names, the media just did it. They never confirmed or denied it, so everybody assumed the press were right with Willas name.
I know it through what i already said in my comment 😅🙂(people who worked at places where they were, the names on stuff and a family member from Danielle). And right now, page six and hollywood life revealed the same name that i did "Now, according to documents obtained by Page Six for a September 26 report, we know her name is Delphine". So i guess the people were right and all i said was/is true.
