    This tutorial shows you how to Create Masks To Use with Text Animators in Adobe After Effects CC 2024 to reuse the text animation from project to project.

    How To Create Text Animation in After Effects:
    1. Open AE
    2. Create a new Composition
    3. Add Text Layer
    4. Twirl open layer
    5. Click arrow next to ‘Animate’
    6. Select Position
    7. Locate Position under ‘Animator 1’
    8. Change Y Value so text moves up and off Comp Window
    9. Go to ‘Range Selector 1’
    10. Move CTI to the beginning of the Timeline
    11. Click the stopwatch next to ‘Offset’ at 0%
    12. Move CTI forward in time
    13. Change value of ‘Offset’ to 100%
    How To Create Masks in After Effects:
    1. Select Text Layer with Text Animators
    2. Select Rectangle Tool
    3. Drag out Rectangle to cover text
    4. Everything inside mask is revealed
    5. Everything outside mask is hidden
    6. Double-click on mask to free transform and adjust to taste
