Yes, Michael was a wonderful actor. I remember him, principally, for his role in the excellent television series Cadfael. Michael was the son of actor Roland Culver.
Sad to learn of actor, Michael Culver's death age 85. He was one of those dependable, supporting actors who always elevated the work he was in. He had a distinguished acting background, too. His father was the British stage and film actor, Roland Culver. RIP.
Yes, I remember him in UFO and even further back in The Adventures of Black Beauty. The two characters were so different I didn't twig it was the same actor for quite a while.
So many things we watched that I didn't realise he was in at the time. RIP even if his son bullied me at school! I can say met him once when he visited on one of the parents' days. There was a billiards table I played on often there and I was keeping score, and apparently made a mess of it 😬.
Agree. Knighthoods used to be reserved for captains of industry and other deserving professions. Now, pop and sports people are regarded as 'qualified'.
Even sadder for me was losing my wife Babs to cancer on the 7th March 2024, together 41 years and married for 35, she was only 59. Rest peacefully, my love, you are in good company.
Yeah the voice of my childhood, non dart player to go first, R I P, Tony Green. 💙🎯. Loved Bully and Jim Bowen lived quite close to me, and used to be a school teacher at a school in Lancaster.😊
Yep, all these people on here saying that they've never heard of any of these people must be young, because Steve Harley was pretty big in the 1970s. I still listen to "Death Trip" a couple of times a year, and will definitely raise a glass to him tomorrow.
@@daleviker5884 Yes,he and Cockney Rebel were really big in 1974-76. By coincidence I'd recently been playing a track by World Party called Ship of Fools from 1987 in my long, slow, chronological revisiting of the 80s. Much as I enjoy that song the chorus of it always had a slight Cockney Rebel-ish influence to me. If not that then maybe Mott the Hoople.
@@rjjcms1 - there was a racehorse name Cockney Rebel who won the 2,000.00 Guineas at Newmarket about fifteen to twenty years ago, (one of the most important "classic" races). Named after Steve Harley I recall, he found out about this and grew quite attached to the racehorse
Sad to see the death of Karl Wallinger, World Party's 'Private Revolution' with the standout single 'Ship Of Fools' was a great album. A very talented singer/songwriter
A lot of comments about not knowing some of these personalities I think it depends of your AGE. Steve Harley of Cockney Rebel was well known , I loved Heartbeat , just because they are not household names they still deserve respect.
I remember Mr Bennett from Heart Beat, he was always getting into trouble. I also used to see him in that Yellow Pages ad. Just found out he died. RIP.
We probably know that _now_ , but deaths are often first announced quite a while after the event so it's reasonable that some actual February deaths first appear in public in March even though the person died in February.
As a woman in her late sixties, I should have heard of these people, but with the exception of the guy from Gogglebox who i vaguely remember and this was on my local news, I’ve never heard of any of them. Hardly celebrities.
@@doommonger7784 Of course. I only liked make me smile. The rest of Cockney Rebel were nobodies. I only know the guy from gogglebox is because I live in Suffolk and he was from Essex. I know almost nothing about men’s sport because I was too busy doing my PhD.
From what I've seen of Gogglebox the guy who just died was one of the more astute folk on that, along with the siblings in Blackpool and perhaps the Siddiquis in Derby.
Michael Culver, RIP. Absolutely brilliant in Secret Army.
Yes, Michael was a wonderful actor. I remember him, principally, for his role in the excellent television series Cadfael. Michael was the son of actor Roland Culver.
😢 Michael Culver and his father were favourite actors of mine, excellent in every role
I still rewatch it to this day. He was excellent.
I adored him in black beauty

Their contributions to British culture and society will forever be remembered. May their legacies continue to inspire future generations. 🌟
The late Colin Bennett was at my wedding. Lovely man we've been friends since the 1980s when he cast me in the my first role
Celebrity seems a loose term these days

Thanks. I cannot say I look forward to your videos for obvious reasons, but I do appreciate that you comment on the passing of many British figures.

May she RIP at least you had a real love, all I ever got was cheating women. Trust me you were lucky.
I was very sad to hear about Tony. Loved Bullseye ❤️

Me too, hearing this 😢
Never heard of some of these so called celebrities
Will always remember Michael Culver as Major Erwin Brandt in Secret Army.
Secret Army.
Steve Harley and Jimmy Husband now they are proper stars.

Saw Steve Harley on stage in his later years, he was great.

You missed Christian Rodska who died on 21st, and was Ron Stryker in Follyfoot.

If only they could find a cure for death. The world would be a much better place. I just don’t think they try hard enough.
I know you’re right, this might catch on 🥴🙄
Andrew Turner didn’t get much of a send off.
Probably because reports of his death are also very sparse and none even mentioned how old he was.
A lot of comments about not knowing some of these personalities I think it depends of your AGE. Steve Harley of Cockney Rebel was well known , I loved Heartbeat , just because they are not household names they still deserve respect.
Mr Bennett in Take Hart. Genius comic actor. Had own show: You Should Be So Lucky.
Loved Mr Bennett on Take Hart & Hart beat RIP to all these stars we've lost
May they all rest in peace🙏🏼
Micheal Culver, Clifford Rose and Terrance Hardiman Legends. Rip and a Great Career.
Thanks for this. Some sad losses...
Who is the click bait woman? Very nice!
RIP Jimmy Bullard. Do you know something we don't? 😃

Tony Green and Steve Hartley are the only ones I've heard of!!
You have put Jimmy Bullard on the timestamp...He is not dead!
RIP!
Never heard of these people😂😂
thanks for the sad news,
March isn’t over yet, though..

Goodness. I found that depressing
British actors who died in March 2024….3 of the first 4 died in February
Thumbnail?
Sad, but I did not recognise 1
I only recognised a couple of them.
Sad losses.😣
Apart from one bit part actor I don't recognise any of them.
Hahaha. Acting is hardly the most difficult thing in the world either. This airheadery sleb Kultur nonsense.
Gogglebox star come on . Tragic of course but star, I think not.
