Just brought a Direwolf and wow... Amazing control with HallEffect on triggers and ALPS analog sticks. And the Dpad, god... The dpad.... It's the most amazing thing I ever played in my life! Perfect for beat em ups and fighting games. Playing SoTN with this is pure magic! Gyroscope is amazing for emulate mouse or playing Switch games on PC. Quality feels amazing too. Incredible controller!!!
In rewsd it is even better on the pc you can remapp the back buttons to unique actions. but you cant have flick stick and action sets or layers. on pc you can use rewasd to program the back buttons as unique inputs, plus you can choose flick stick, and you can use different layers and even buton activators like double press. release press or start press. So you can get alot more inputs on the same buttons.
Can someone confirm me if the triggers are regular digital buttons and not analog? I was thinking of buying this but read on reddit a review where it is said they are not analog. I find this useful for racing so if they are not I don't think they suit my needs. Thanks
Wow, this has SOO many dang features, but the only things that i really care for are the clicky buttons, motion, rumble & extra buttons, especially those 3rd set of small triggers.
Well indeed the apex 3 has some time in the market already but I have no idea if flydigi is planning another product. And the only thing they might improve is the analog triggers So if you think that having analog triggers is so important you might want to wait a little more

They just ignored those questions and only answerd my least inportant question. even if i ask simple things they dont give a real anwer. they seem to deflect all of my questions.
Yeah.. even if it turns out to be garbage, I'll still have to get one of these. It even has rumble! (a controller without rumble for me, it's just as bad as a mouse without a scroll wheel.. or browser back and forward buttons) If anything, at least it seems to be a good way to kill some time in the weekends with all the features that it has. And if it's any good, then, even better!. Props for the teardowns 👍
Nice video ! This controller looks really good for a smartphone ! You should do the same for PC controllers or even Switch controllers ! Check the Panda Global's controller, I'd love to see more reviews ! The unboxing was a bit long for me, but the fact that you added markers is very nice of you !

I tried to do a quick unboxing but it has so many things that i couldn't leave any detail out I try to pass all the information I can in my reviews so that the viewers will have all of the information about a product before buying it, just compare with the other apex 2 reviews and you'll see how much the other youtubers left out
to be honest, i prefer potentiometer joysticks because spare parts are abundant and they're relatively easy to find and repair. also it looks like the apex 2 uses standard micro switches for their buttons so it should be pretty easy to repair
@@supremesonic2124 a hall effect stick would not need much replacement, since it wont drift as easy. (i am not saying they cant drift). And i know there are other components in the stick like the spring that can give out. Most hall effect sticks are from the same company K silver. The Gamesir T4 kaleid and a few other gamepads use these same sticks.
@@theXaintYes. It's bad for diagonals, plus it just doesn't feel as good or work as well as the d-pad design on the newer Flydigi controllers. The Apex 2 still has the most buttons, which is why controller is still worth using.
I have the controller. The letdowns I have with it is how weak and flimsy the plastic parts are inside. The start and back button joint plastic part thingy snapped and I cannot use the buttons. I don't use those buttons much so it's rather disappointing how cheap the material is. It does feel premium but the plastic parts are kinda brittle. It's been over a year since my purchase.

indeed but if you stop to think, analog triggers are only really useful on racing games or when you get some extra effect like the adaptative triggers on the dualsense, on my case I rarely play racing games so it didn't make much difference
@@VKsChannel My main plan would be to use it as a general emulation controller across devices, so that I'm not switching back and forth between GameCube and Switch pro controllers... especially if I want to emulate GameCube on my phone. There is always the Switch Pro style controllers that are in the shape of GameCube controllers with analogue capacity, but... man that moving pad the three buttons are on is so neat.

It is unable to connect to my phone so right now i have an expensive PC wired controller. @@VKsChannel I did buy it from the link yes. And my phone is an old CAT S41, could be an issue with the phone itself, though my biggest problem is that without the 2.4Ghz dongle i cant use it on PC. I was wondering if there was a way to connect it still with a different dongle or any other way. I really don't play much on mobile i got it to use on PC. The controller itself is really nice and well built, an absolute shame it does not come with the same accessories as the one you received.

Try playing wild rift or any other moba with a regular controller If you have 2 thumbs on your right hand to hold the button and aim with the stick at the same time then you really don't need an apex 2

Hall effect sensor joysticks and analog triggers would make the successor the perfect controller. Hopefully, they will implement it in Apex 3.

So besides racing games that use analog triggers and games that primarily use the d-pad like fighters, this would be the very best gamepad.
