yeah i was thinking along the same lines, without the depth it wouldn't be as structial. Thanks for clearing this up. Could you tell me if you steam the wood first before glueing in the mould.
I'm all new to this, but for bigger drums, or should i say deeper, the use staves (staff) joined together, the frame drum is say 2-5 inches deep, was just wondering the pros and cons of this idea with frame drums. many thanks jon
