Funny, when she was in Manchester in February she said she felt she was 'standing on the shoulders of giants' as so many of her influencers came from the city but I don't think anyone thought she meant The Hollies.
You expect a woman to sound like a man😂🤔ok. I prefer when AC/DC songs are covered by female singers, maybe it doesn't sound great if AC/DC cover a Weyes Blood song 😂🎸💓

Natalie Mering is in such control of that gorgeous voice, much like The Hollies' Allan Clarke who made this song a global hit in early 1974.

If you listen on headphones, you can hear a couple audience members improvising some beautiful aeolian harp parts 😉
I think they're replicating the similar bits in the Radiohead's "Creep" which is very similar to this song at times.

Albert Hammond does not take any royalties from Radiohead. He just asked to be on the credits, after he found the rip off.

If you can't do it as good or better then don't do it. The phrasing is slop and the guitar is timid.
