I think the shredder with its regular ammo is fine as a event only weapon, but i really dislike the explosive ammo wich turn it to a automatik airburst grenadelauncher with not much counterplay, because if its spammed at you you will die in 2 to 3 shots and you will be getting aimpunched permanently making fighting back impossible. So in summary normal shredder is fine, explosive shredder has no counterplay, requires single to no skill to use and generally feels wrong in a game like hunt, where every fight should be winnable by both sides
As much fun as i have with this thing as well, it's a good thing it's only in this event. I couldn't imagine it being in the base game. Thanks for the laughs, Smackk.
its such a badass weapon! its funny how many people are crying about this weapon, knowing it wont be in the game for much time at all. I died to it TWICE yesterday, and it was NEVER a full trio like we were in this video. The 'Streamer friends' are a rare case making this weapon more OP then it actually is, 3 shredders is the same as 3 avtos, 3 explosive crossbows, 3 nitros, 3 mosins, 3 levering terminus with flechette or dragon breath, and everyone is worked up over it xd

I like your videos really, but please dont play this aka "disney music" in the background. It dont fits in the whole concept of first person action shooter. "no front" You want that everyone who watches it falls asleep. Drop some action tunes with tention and wakeup sounds. "Schredder is balanced"
@ATF- uhh the numbers been down bro only reason you say numbers are up is cause literally first day of event. They are making some very interesting changes and from what I hear it's really not looking great. They pumped up the bear boss and can kill it so easily it's a joke like this game got so easy

Even if you are good its not fun anymore. Everybody plays the same weapons because balancing does not excist. The events are just getting annoying at this point, game braking bugs and features every so often. Crytek is doing everything but fixing the game, Fifield needs to go
@@Fermentos I haven't had any game breaking bugs on console for months. Constantly seeing new loadouts and new equipment. I guess the lowly 2 star lobbies that you play on im guessing they use a lot of long ammo??? Don't really understand your complaint because it couldn't be further from the truth from my play experience as a 6 star solo MMR, which is different from a 6 star with a 4 star MMR...... What is unbalanced for you??? I've found the only cheap gun is still the Nitro Dum Dum, not a single other weapon feels unbalanced.

you could try taking cover.......
@asacloutier7530 thats exactly the point, with the explosive ammo you can shoot next to or above the cover and still kill the person behind the cover

The ricochet AND the homing is kinda insane ngl 😂 I like the other changes but disagree with the explosive rounds aswell.

not at all, players were clamoring for more sci fi weapons like the bomb lance. I think this is fantastic for a limited time power weapon
