These are not Veterans, they are something else. Veteran just means that they are playing this Genre for a longer time then others. And a good Veteran does not gatekeep or tell others how to play.
me and my friend call them 'Nostalgic Crybaby'. They are segment of old gamer that past their prime and want other to feel punished for everything they've experience while also coveted a pro-gamer life but can't be due to certain situation.

The story mode complainers is way too real. All their arguments are that either the plot is bad or over complictated, using BlazBlue and virtua Fighter as exemples. Heck, people say that VF6 should release without any type of story? WTF? IN FREAKING 2024!
As much as I hate the Sanitarium (ie. Training Stage), as someone who very easily gets motion sick (almost all video games in first person are a no go for me, even), I hate train stages even more. Otherwise, as a Super Turbo enjoyer, I agree with you.
Oh don't worry, i'm aware Train Stages got that trouble; but they are rad... is maybe my portion of nostalgia from Fatal Fury 2 with the stage of Terry Bogard. Never Sanitarium, Mad house, asylum, gray wall! :D Drunk ST? Let's go
LOL Super turbo mostly drunk. Even us dedicated ST players say "drunk ST is Best ST" no argument from anyone here. And I find that most (not all) of the things you say in the video, occur around the people who know the games enough to *think* they are good. They are people who "never make it out of pools" or "can't break top 8/16/32" (depends on the size of game/tourament) . Those are the people who want people to think they are more deeply ingrained in the community than they actually are, and they are more competitive and "serious" than they actually are. Of course, there are always exceptions, but once you make friends with people who are *actually* good, they are just as chill as the casual players. They have to be, to dedicate so much time to the game, they have to love the game at that level to become that good at it. It's just the middle ground where you find most of the snobs. I made top 5 at combo breaker. But I still love fucking around with the random guy I meet at a arcade bar. And I love the faces you can make in the vs screen in SF6. And world tour is really cool... I just wish I didn't get motion sick when playing it.
