Good tutorial I am sold. This chair has everything I need , seems heavy but that only means it will be stable with a load. At 7 mph it will be fast enough surely. Thanks again for all the specs on this unit, I've been wondering the differece from the M-3 or F-3 and this M-5. It's probably something like the raising seat max or that.
Hi .. may I pester you for help on my c300 ? I am the only owner , new in 2008. My right main center wheel locked up & would go in circles.. it will engage .. attempt to go straight until the resistance felt . I am a c4 quadriplegic so .. I need my chair until I can get it replaced. It’s time to retire it if ya consider all the work done & all tires needing to be replaced.. & batteries . My legs are powered , I just don’t have power to the foot plates .. single footplates cause ankle sores & just too hard on my left leg that is paralyzed too. I love how the c300 rides , aside from sidewalk cracks & it didn’t transfer from street to curb all that well. I have been told it could be the motor & should replace both. Many things were assembled incorrectly by the guy I used since paralyzed by a mfg spine device they knew would cause quadriplegia.. no cervical patent . So I am 20 years into this & finding the pronto, jazzy select to be awful wheelchairs. Their boat seats to single footplate harming my limbs & skirts lol, are not like my c300 . Things we take for granted like a arm rest wide enough to transfer & not stick or be burnt by.. a Harley cup holder & swaying arm rest , electric tilt, recline & actuator assembled wrong .. are all dearly missed. Everything I learned to do is out the window & not like ole Woody on the Toy Story ( replaceable) my grandson through out my window . I could use some guidance, advice . My c300 has been discontinued & I have been told parts are a issue .. backed up new purchases are in process. Marvin ,Sam Schmidt’s dad gave me a pronto much like the jazzy select I was loaned recently. Boat seats & single heavy footplates should be restricted. Marvin’s wheelchair is for lefties & has 2 dead batteries with sulfur, wouldn’t charge & damage to the footplate that my inflated legs to toes can’t handle. He was oh so generous & for this .. please acknowledge Nascar , paralysis & all that Sam Schmidt has done with support I wish we all had . Driven .. is a downtown lasvegas nv biz owned by Sam . It isn’t every day that someone just gives a wheelchair away.. even if it isn’t a good temporary Wc for me.. it will help someone as I pass it on .. Wheels 4 Quads is a must so luvAquad . I listened & replayed your video. Would a c300 wheel lock up for other reasons ? Are you servicing wc repairs in NV .. are you working with pt / ot’s in NV for new power wheelchairs requiring a dr’s script? If I'm understanding your question correctly, there are so many different powerchairs and casters for each chair that we would need to know what make and model your chair was to know which casters you need.
