Okay, I think the change makes sense -- Edward can't break up with her because he's worried she's sick, and that's horrible timing. Makes sense as a translation, for sure. Next episode please!! haha
The leukemia thing was a smart update because it gives Edward a reason to stay with Lucy. I sense there will be footage from Marianne's party soon and it Will be a total train wreck :D The only thing that bugs me is that Marianne is totally ignoring Edward's wished by putting this online :/
I really like the Beauty and the beast reference. After all, Belle took a while to fall for the Beast. Marianne is a little bit like Belle. And there is a certain someone she hasn't yet fallen for, someone she didn't really like at first.... ;) And let's just say Will is the equivalent of Gaston...
Love Charlotte's dress! Wow! And HATE Lucy seriously! ugh. Bossing Edward around with what to wear "I don't want you to get kicked out cause you're too scruffy." aww she doesn't even seem to like him at all. I guess she is with him just to be mean to Elinor?
Lucy with a history with leukaemia is such a twist in the story, I can't believe I haven't seen it before. At least it gives some justification on Edward's actions, but what would happen to Lucy(not that I like her, but even she deserves a (at least) satisfactory resolution)?
***WARNING: HERE BE SPOILERS*** Given that the creators probably won't have Lucy *BEGIN SPOILER* marry Edward's brother *END SPOILER*, the twist will probably be that Lucy lied about having leukaemia, hence justification for Edward to break up with her leaving him free to be with Elinor. It's a bit of a cliche trope nowadays, but a good adaptation of the novel.
Edward: Don't tell anyone
Marianne: Uploads it to the Internet...
always the way with a web series!
*sees Marianne make physical contact with Brandon on preview*
*squeals inwardly*
*hyperventilates from excitement*
I squealed outwardly

Yes, I think you're right.
P.S. Edward is adorable. How he passed concealer when she asked for mascara :3

ah so edward's now unable to break up with her because he's worried she's really sick and he couldn't do it... I hope she's not actually ill!

Kerry Peterson EXACTLY!
This adaptation of Lucy is spot on. I got irritated listening to her after a few seconds, which is really a kudos to Georgie's acting.
Great episode! Makes me wanna watch the next one right NOW!
i hate lucy so much knowing what happens

But how Lucy treats others is so ..... UGHHH!

Assuming things don't go well at the club...I wonder when you edited this?
It's like Hollyoaks. But worse.
