Whats the point even buying high ranged phone when you have to switch off everything?
Ikr
I get your point but I think people search this up to customize there phone on how they want it to run. Like they will do their own turn off and turn on settings because they honestly don't use those settings so might turn them off. They want a high phone that's powerful but want it to run most settings but not all. They may just want this and be able to say I got the latest phone lmao
Well at least me decided to get this kind of phone especially by the camera quality, because I don't like iPhone iOS, so, I need very good battery and very good camera, and Whatsapp, the other stuff is unnecessary for me, and I know a lot of people share this.
Not everyone has money to buy phone every 2 years. Maybe they saved up for a high end phone for a good few years. And sometime when working you may want your phone to last all day. So many reasons...
Hardware and battery screen etc.
Underrated video man your great I watched many videos they just talk about dark mod and stuff but you went deeper in settings really did somthing
Great keep up the good work 💙⚡🙏
Not even half way through the video and battery seems twice as pungent. Well done sir, subscribed
Thank you for your patronage! 💪
What device do you use?
Great video! I applied these settings and it's more than I thought of to apply before. Thank you!
I had to go to all your videos and I had to like every single one of them. Even on my other account. You're doing great keep up the good work 💪
Thanks bro means a lot!
Nice video dude it definitely helps and you're amazing overall keep doing what you love 💘❤
Very extensive and hit things I never thought of. As with all suggestions, take what you like and leave the rest!
My battery life is fucking insanely great, now. Much appreciated.
Hats off to u sir...I did all the settings by almost 3 hours by watching your video... thanks alot
And I subscribed to ir channel
thank you so much! after i followed your steps, my "a full charge will last about" feature went from 12 hours to 16 hours 👍
Anytime :)
Just few day's ago i bought brand new samsung galaxy s20 fe and now after watching your video i applied all those settings which you asked to toggle. Thank you very much 😊
does these settings are helpful in s20fe 5g????? do please reply
@@varunchauhan8171 yes ! My phone battery is lasting longer after toggling on all settings from the video.
I'll definitely work on your s20 fe too if it's s20 fe 5g snapdragon 865 version not exynos version

Thanks Bro,
I got 19hr 34 min on my Samsung note 10 lite after full charge, still left battery 38% now. I also did battery protect option, So from 85% to 38% I got over 19hr. Big Thanks bro.
Do these things work with a samsung galaxy a32 also?
4% battery right now at the end of 16 hrs 4min SoT, total one day and 5 hours, I just bought the phone yesterday, the battery optimization tool is still learning. Mostly youtube and reddit usage, at minimal brightness.
Awesome job !!!! I'm getting incredibly amounts of battery on my s20 ultra with 120hz active !!!
So far so good..followed this video for my note 20 ultra..full batery at 7am, now at 7pm still have 40% left..along the way using whatapp, fb, game coc, shopee apps, web browser and youtube
.tq for this great tips
Great video. I have a Note 20 Ultra exynos and its battery life is the worst. It's SoT is usually less than 4hrs and I have to keep charging my phone often.
Samsung has added a new feature in battery section to protect the battery which actually limits charge to 85%, Although this video is great comprehensive battery saving tips but now I wonder is it really for protecting the battery by limiting its charge to 85% does it really help battery's performance in the long run. Secondly I do love your feedback regarding good charging habits like 20-80% cycle
In what video did he mention the charging habit?
Should I enable the protect battery?
@@nayeemislam1622 Yes as going to 100 to 0% will cut your battery usage throughout the years
No idea why my comment was not published before but yeah I highly recommend to enable 85% limit this will conserve the battery life lifespan for a long period however if you are a person who upgrades to new phone every 2-3 years than no need to
With the 85 percent and you change it when you hit 15 percent
It's just not enough lost of 30% already and these phones have trash battery life
All the sim settings aren't applicable in all regions. We are only supported for volte. No volte no calls. Also we have to keep LTE on.
I should have been more clear about this. You can use 4G if the signal is low for 2G/3G in addition if the signal is low or none than battery life would be impacted as well as it putting more pressure on battery to give you signal
Wao mate ! 👌 this is undoubtedly the best video for battery saving tips
One question does doing any of those things besides lowering the refresh rate power saving things of that nature effect phone performance??
Nice one! Can you make vid what difference deep sleeping apps vs sleeping apps?
Curious, what styler pen are you using? I like that.
Good advice. Perhaps when I have the cellphone for a couple of years, then I'll toggle all those features. Why do that on a new power house cellphone (S23 Ultra).
Does the google app has to be updated for this process to work? I did a factory reset on my A71 and it didn't automatically update Google unlike other phones I had before
Thx you got a big thumbs up and new subsciber 😂
So I have a Samsung Galaxy 8 32 and I enable power saving but I tried everything in this article I bought this phone last week the battery was fine the battery itself doesn't last long I don't understand why the battery just keeps going down so quickly
I have a question. If I download a dark/black theme and use that does that act the same as if I turned on the dark mode ??? Because I hate if I have the dark theme on it takes away my cute keyboard
What are your thoughts on Adaptive Power Saving?
It wastes battery, I suggest you turn it off
Just got my note 20 ultra I'm going to give this a try
Necessary 😅 Same here.
great video, the only thing I won't do is to reduce refresh rate and resolution, unless is extremely necessary...there is no point in having a 4k tv but just watch FHD movies on it
Also, movies are usually shot in 24 FPS or 30 FPS. Technically, you can turn off 120 hz while you watch the movie since the will not play at 120 hz anyway.
I like your comment. U understand me 🖒😂
@@macyoung6634 no need the phone will bring down refresh rate to 10 when it doesn't need higher
Basically shutting down all functions that makes it a Flagship, or even a proper phone. Where your apps don’t sync and your messages don’t update. Way to go! Honestly, you’re better off getting iPhone. Or even mid range phones.
Thanks for the video it definitely helped
Why should i turn touch sensitivity off? Does it use that much battert? I didnt notice any change when i turned it off
Can you make a video like this for android like if we don't have this types of phone how can we improve it both practically and theoretically as you did for samsung
I try it I will observed it for few weeks. Anyway thanks for the tips sir. 🤙
Thank you for helping!
Thank you sir But may I ask you one thing. My new Sansung galexy s22 Ultra is consuming 2% battery even during night, though no Bluetooth etc.is on,but on Aeroplane mode .But my another mid range phone doesn't consume any battery during night.Would you please guide me about the reason of that ? Thank you.
I already liked the video
Love from India
Thank you so much bro
Great video. I got an hour more out of my S21 FE. Do you have the settings written down though so it's easier to go through? Thanks!
I wrote it on one of my post on reddit but I'm planning to make an updated one since this method ain't that useful for android 12 or above. With A12 you don't have to disable most of the features just a minor tweak and use of deep sleep
@@TechnoGenuine well i have the a12. what settings i shouldn't disable?
@@TechnoGenuine Thank you. Waiting patiently for the Android 12 version of this guide.
@@nihilitys key question here, because I'm running A12 and just went through this entire video configuring things ha ha ha
@@TechnoGenuine is there an updated video for A12 one UI 4.0 ?
THANK YOU!
Good job bro... thank you
I have the S21 Ultra Snapdragon version on AT&T. I have 120hz enabled, No power saving enabled and my best Battery performance thus far is 18hrs with 10hrs 30mins screen on time.
Wonder what I could get with all these settings changes.
I am actually curious too xD. Normally with 120hz enabled 1440p without power saving I would get 7-8 hours SoT max
I don't go beyond 5hrs SoT sometimes 6. wtf lol.
Are these the same settings for battery saving?
1. Batterry>> background usage limits>> sleeping aps; deep sleeping apps; never sleeping apps
and
2. long press on the app icon>>> app info>>battery>>> Unrestricted; Optimized; Restricted
Tnx :)
I would also disable digital wellbeing.
Thanks bro much obliged
Hi bro, Can I try these steps in my new samsung galaxy 21 FE to improve battery life?
Im using s21 ulta and having a screen on time about 3-4 hours i dont know i have done all the things but still it doesnt help me the battery is sick or this mobile is
Hi. I have a problem with Media Storage: it keeps consuming the battery no sense. I tried to format the SD and to use the phone without the SD, but it keeps consuming between 7 and 15%. Why? Is there a way to make this shit not consuming so much? (S10 lite)
Thanks for the helpful information; however, turning off the "find my mobile" setting made zero difference in battery life in a measured overnight back-to-back test on my Galaxy S21.
What about your connectivity are you always connected to mobile data / WiFi?
@@TechnoGenuine Yes, Wi-Fi and data always on and connected. Before I turned off "find my mobile" I used 5 percent battery in 9 hours overnight. After turning "find my mobile" off, the phone used the same 5 percent in 9 hours. I will check again tonight with it on. Then tomorrow with it off and double check it.
@@TechnoGenuine Once again, I used 5 percent battery in 9 hours with "find my mobile" switched on last night. This option does not appear to use extra power on my S21. Maybe the setting simply allows the option to be employed when needed and uses no extra power normally. Try the test yourself to see if you get the same outcome.
@@scottbennett3119 This used to drain battery life when I had Galaxy S8+ but I guess they have done some improvements. I'll definitely check it out, thanks for your test!
Interesting video. Will try to adapte to my aging s9
But in theory wouldn't using VoLTE save more battery because you wouldn't need to switch back to 3g/2g for voice calls?
I have given it a try on Galaxy S8+, Note 9, Note 10+ and S21 Ultra but all of them has caused overheat and faster battery drain. You can try out my settings for few days if you notice a good change than you can try enabling VOLTE to experiment if it makes any difference for you
@@TechnoGenuine How about putting ur phone in Airplane than changing it to 3g/2g?
It works for me thank you very much! 🥰
Anytime 👍enjoy :)

Ok. So. I was really skeptical about this and about to return my S21U snapdragon. I took my phone off the charger 12 hours and 26 minutes ago, and I'm at 57% with 3 hours and 26 minutes of SOT.
It is really odd, snapdragon should perform better than Exynos. Have you enabled power saving? Also is there any heavy apps running on background?
@@TechnoGenuine I didn't just because want 1440p. But I do use bixby routines for refresh rate so it's set to standard during work and when I'm not home. So basically it's adaptive when I'm using yhe phone for pleasure.
I was getting 4.5 - 5 hours max before I watched this video. Today I got 8.5 hours and would probably get 10+ if I switched on power saving and FHD. one thing that has been frustrating is that I use good lock, but the lockscreen resets if you change the resolution... I hope that gets fixed so I can use 1080p and power saving during work
Thanks. Will try this on my S21. Do you think the 120hz + power saver mode trick actually works? Also, does 3 button nav bar saves more battery than gestures?
How have things went ? Is battery life drastically better ?
i had 4.5 hrs with 85% now i get 5. i had most of these options of but some options i cant live without. Sync and 120 hz as an example. also i had battery saver+120hz in the past but now its not available as they patched it so i guess. 5 hrs SOT on 85% is not that bad with 120 and battery saver off
do you think it is reasonable to expect 2 hrs extra on 60hz? or more like 1 hr extra?
@@dummyemail4738 yeah like 30-40min extra on 60hz
Also Find a wifi switcher app and data switch app and set to 2.4 from 5g preffered

Bro I use Samsung S21 plus. Here in Battery option, a extra option is here, what isn't in your phone & that is Protect Battery mode. It says if I want to extend my battery lifespan, I can use this option. This option will stop charging maximum at 85%..
So, should I use this option for a better battery backup & good lifespan of my battery??
Help please ❤️
Yes I strongly recommend it
It's a very comprehensive guide, however I see no point in applying all these settings on top-tier smartphone. Just buy some feature phone and you'll end up with even better battery time and same functionality :)

Gps turns on for a split second while unlocking after applying these settings...it's very annoying please help
you may get that, but wreaking your battery lifespan. I charge mine when I either charge to 100% then charge at 40%, if I charge to 85% Charge at 30%, no way should you ever go to under 30% or always 100%

Might as well buy an iPhone if we're going to have to turn off all of these useful features and settings.
